Nextar will eb issuing the points rather than the retailer in these cases, they will be making money off the click throughs - simialr to cashback sites do.

Has anyone with an American Express Nectar credit card received their 500 bonus points for spending £500 ??

3. How do I collect MorePoints?
It's easy. For every £500 you spend on your Card in any calendar month, you'll collect 500 EXTRA Nectar Points (MorePoints). So if you spend £1,000 in one month you'll get 1,000 Nectar points, if you spend £1,500 you'll collect 1,500 points. And so on...

I was sent an Email promoting this and have spent just over £500 from 1st Dec to 31st Dec but no extra points on my credit card statement .

Has anyone ever had these credited and if so , when.

Well if your lucky you do get vouchers from nectar offering double points when you spend x amount of money, just a note but sainsburys dont have nothing to with nectar, nectar are an outside company, yu can get an american express credit card and you get 4 points for every £1 spent at sainsburys and other partners,

just to let you know me and DH both applied for the amex nectar card and we both got accepted, we both recieved 5000 points each for account opening and a further 500 points for spending £ 500, keep checking your nectar card we noticed the points had been added to our nectar card approx 5 days before our statement was sent, so u will get them,

Beware - Nectar are rather bad at crediting points due to you. It may sound boring, but write down all purchases to do with your nectar card and how many points are due, especially if they are linked to double or triple points. I find that they rarely credit points when I go through Nectar Estores (a link on the nectar page to other internet sites which they then give you points for any purchases). I have had to phone them 4 times now to demand my points and it is a long arduous process made difficult probably to stop you bothering next time. They require order numbers, invoice numbers and delivery dates and even then try to convince you that it may be tough to reclaim these points - the ones that you are OWED by them by shopping through THEIR site with THEIR nectar card! They tell you it takes 28 days for points to be credited, assuming you will forget, but if you keep a record, you will be amazed just how many points don't get credited. A great example is that if you join TNS to take part in surveys, they give you 100 points for joining and then a certain amount for each survey taken (as long as you sign up and ask for your TNS points to be transferred to Nectar). So they didn't credit the 100 points for joining, but credited my account with 20 points two weeks later for a survey I took. So beware, you are owed these points for your loyalty to Nectar, but the only one that's going to make sure you get them is you as Nectar sure as heck wont!

I have circa 10,000 points on my balance with Nectar and have been thinking about taking a break with my 2 year old. I would love to go somewhere in Europe but want to spend my points wisely. I do know you need to do this via ebookers.com but without choosing many destinations to find the best use of points I wondered if anyone could give me any tips on the cheapest options? I obviously need 2 tickets as she is now too old to travel on my lap aarrgghh! I am a very happy traveller so I am happy to look at any options on location as long as we can get some sun. If it helps I am travelling from Edinburgh.

i have got to agree, ive had a card for years but never heard about the nectar website estores until yesterday. why aren't Nectar promoting themselves more

Don't know if anyone can help me with this....I have now received my Nectar points for some hefty Amazon shopping at the beginning of December. Unless my memories failing, I could have sworn they were running an offer of 2 points per pound spent at the time, but I've only been credited with 1 point per pound. Can anyone remember whether there was an offer on then so I can contact them and ask for my extra points? Cheers
