Morning All
Quick one from me today as am not so well organised as yesterday. Window didn't happen, they had sent the wrong size, fitter says it will be after xmas now. Still have cleaned all round window and washed the curtains so I spose it did do me a favour.
Hope all goes well for Mr Tru today and nmlc's dad. Fingers crossed you hear from the mortgage lady today Ruby.
Don't want to go to work today, would rather stay home and potter about, have so many little things that need doing but just don't seem to have the time.
Tea tonight will be something quick, if OH is not home probably just soup for me, still not feeling like eating much.
Hope you all have a good day xxwhoever said laughter was the best medicine has clearly never tasted wine

Good Morning! Am determined to get myself doing something (anything!) today. WM has finished and the towels are in the drier. Well, they'd never get dry outdoors at the moment and they'd take ages indoors, so the drier it is.
Hope the hospital sort Mr Tru's eye problem out quickly.
Need to bake bread today, we are getting through a loaf very quickly it seems. It's me, I could eat bread anytime - no wonder the weight keeps going up!
Am hoping to sort out one section of the wardrobe later, and also wrap all the pressies for Santa to dish out at the Church Fair on Saturday.
Hope everyone has a good day.Resolution:

nmlc - good luck for your Dad's angio x
hilstep - (((hugs)))
Thriftlady - hope you enjoy the shoe shopping!:D
have cleaned through quickly, ironing all done, washing on airer - another load in machine. I find my machine wont cope with big loads so I do smaller loads on shorter washes and get just as good a result.
I'm having tea at work and DH and DS2 are having burgers, mash, peas and gravy.
Hope you all have a great day xDo what you love :happyhear0 -
Morning All,
nmlc - hope things go ok for your Dad today
tru - thanks for the song and good luck to Mr tru
Feeling quite down this morning. The doctor has prescribed me clomid to make sure I ovulate during my cycles so that I actually have a chance to conceive, but I can't start it until my next cycle starts. I was due to start on Saturday but nothing, but also just know I'm not pregnant (can't be haven't produced an egg). I just don't know what else I'm meant to do. I can't get my mind off it like everyone tells me I must and as a result I feel like carp most days regardless of how positively I start the day. Am exhausted from putting on a happy face in the office all day too.
Anyway, sorry, not a lot of OS happening here haven't got the inclination today, although I do have to write some Christmas cards at some point otherwise no will get one this year!
Have a nice day all, (((hugs))) xxSometimes that mountain you've been climbing is just a grain of sand,

So are your bath time antics.Good luck for today. x
Sorry you are down Lowsey. Don't know what to say really but do you post on the TTC thread? You may get good support there too. xxx
Hope Mr Tru is ok. xxx
Great crocheting BB. :T
I'm ready for the hills here. I have so much to do and not enough time to do it. Nearly finished all my office work yesterday and did a bit of crafting. Also got the last of the Christmas pressies (I think).
The cat is determined to get to the star at the top of the Christmas tree and the dog is depressed since my Dad left. On top of that, the chickens have decided that 15 feet up next door's tree is THE place to roost so I either have top put them to bed at 4pm by hand or get them down from the tree with a brush an hour later.
OH has gone off to the city on the train today so just the girlies and me for tea and we are going to have a stab at clearing the freezer of all the bits and pieces and then I can start prepping and freezing some stuff for Christmas day. Have made a start by giving the girls some HM stew in their food flasks today and I have defrosted a few sausage rolls for my lunch.
I really need to finish the girls's stocking today. Everything is cut out so it's just sewing now and they will be done.
Need to get on top of the laundry and clean out the chickens on top of the usual stuff. I'm away on Thursday to hospital so need to get ready for that too.
Take care all

Morning everyone.
Had a better night with DS (he slept with me in our bed) but he still won't eat anything. Had to be a bit forceful and make him have one weetabix this morning. Feel like a bad mummy for it but he did in the end eat it all and it's been 4 days now with practically no food.
I have an aching neck and shoulders as I ended up sleeping on my H's side of the bed. How weird is it that despite it being the same mattress etc I still found it uncomfortable because it wasn't my side :rotfl:
Note to self - do not attempt to complete any type of craft work with superglueIt might bond everything in sight in second but apparantly not sequins to felt  My Bostick glue (what little bit I had left) had dried out (it's been so long
) so I thought I'd try Superglue. Have managed to stick DD's name to the stocking in felt that I'd cut out but the sequins were a total nightmare. And me and superglue aren't a good mix at the best of times
Will pop out today and get some Bostick and hopefully her stocking will be finished.
Haven't a clue about dinner - meal planning gone out of the window as I've been so tired. Am fed up now of having no energy, still being snotty, bad back etc. Santa if you are reading I'd like a new body for Christmas, preferably one that's a bit more reliable than the one I have now
Diva - loving the thought of Tris picking a tree and cutting it down from his ranch - how many acres does he have? It's such a shame for him not to be doing his usual preps - especially since he sounds a real manly man IYKWIM.
Tru - Hope your H's eye turns out OK xx
nmlc - Hope you're Dad's angiogram goes well xx
Redruby - possibly moving on 22nd? Rather you than me. Hope you get a date confirmed asap though x
Thriftlady - good luck with the pure egg test and your DD.
Hilstep - sorry to hear you're feeling down xx
lowesy - hugs to you xx
Bargainbird - well done on your crocheting (sp?) your hats and ipod sock are fab
Haribo - well done on your hamper win yesterdayHave a festive day OS or not. Hugs to all those that need them.

Tru and nmlc - best wishes for your loved ones xx
Lowesy - don't have any clever answers, but can send a big hug xx
Hugs to everyone else who needs them and fingers crossed for you Redruby!
Had a problem with our gas today, not coming from the tank into the house now! So gonna be chilly tonight here! Have contacted the gas company and they will send someone out in the next few days!!!!! Argh! Must dig out the old oil rad I bought for emergencies! This happened last Chrimbo too, damn and blast!
Meant to be going to craft class, but not at all organised, so might just stay at home with a youtube tutorial lol! Need to get on with some house stuff anyway, and pressies need a final sort and any missing bits listed to get, and also need to dig stuff out for friend from cupboard that I've buried under pressies!
Oh I feel all out of sorts now, I hate being cold! I don't want my character built up any more pah pah pah!
Going to make a cuppa and will hopefully return in a happier mood! xxGC Oct £387.69/£400, GC Nov £312.58/£400, GC Dec £111.87/£4000 -
Morning chums, The sun is actually shining here in North Kent today so I'm just about to put the WM on. My son-in-law has bought my youngest DD a mini Jack Russell pup for her fortieth birthday next week.It is so tiny and although 9 weeks is still very wobbly on its legs. She has called her Daisy, as she looks like one of those minature milk jugs that are shaped like a cow !! and is white with brown patches all over. She wants me to knit a tiny coat for her as the weather is so cold and she has to keep her warm. The children are all besotted with her and Mikey is so pleased that there is something smaller than him in the house for a change.
Hopefully the last of the Christmas cards will be written out today and I have one voucher to buy from B&Q as a birthday present to someone that I will have to post off by the end of the week. Then Christmas is all done and dusted for this year at least.
Hoep everyone has a good day today and manages to get lots done as its only 17 more days to go and they just fly by.
Has anyone seen the short Video on the BBC home page with our beloved Martin giving tips for Christmas .There is a very interesting few clips on how to make cards and crackers as well on there, well worth a look .I saw it as its my homepage when I log on first in the morning.
Cheers Chums
