Sounds strange. Next have recently changed the way you order, you used to need a code but the past couple of sales you have to log into your account, click on a link and that takes you to the sales listing with the option of adding the items to your basket through this page. I do think this is a good idea as it stops the 'hawkers' who ordered lots with the codes so that they can put them on e-bay at a higher price and spoil the chance of the sale bargains for everyone else. If you have trouble this time I'd get straight onto the customer services and make a serious complaint about it.

This happened to me at the last sale too, and my friend - I rang cs who said to clear cookies and try again, and it worked then ok. Hope it doesn't happen this time either!

On tenderhooks until the VIP slots are released (even though I've had one every next sale for the last 3 years, I STILL worry that I might not get one this time round).

:DOoh the excitement already, can't wait for them to release slots. Fingers crossed i might be lucky.
Can't get too excited as my baby is due xmas eve and i'm just hoping it doesn't come at the same time as a next vip slot!!!! I'd have to take my laptop to hospital with me!

I have been with Next for about 9 years always ordered stuff regulary and I have NEVER yet got a VIP slot?? Anyone have any idea why - apart from being unlucky lol!

Have you got the box ticked online where it asks if you want to receive emails about special offers, sales etc?
