have just had a piece of furniture delivered, but even without opening the box, i know it wasnt what i expected, as its smaller than i thought

but, just read the delivery note, and it says Next charge a £30 collection fee

just checked the directory (small print), and it says the fee is applied to selected furniture and sofas. so does anyone know what items it refers to? would the item description in the catalogue say whether that item falls under the fee or not?

  • I wonder why it take's so long for them to contact to you (if at all) to tell you the items are not in stock.

I've had a letter sent 3-4 months after initial order saying it was out of stock, strange process that they would not know sooner if the item was in stock or not.

I fear my One item 3-4 days and Two 2-4 weeks will not arrive :-( shame as these were the items I wanted most.
  • I'm just fed up with the lack of information on the sale page, I've had to return 3 shirts that I'd ordered for my husband as we did not know they were 'tailored fit', just by adding that info it would save a lot of time and work for everyone.

they expect you to keep all previous years catalogues, and midseason brochures, to refer back to!

although, quite often in the sale, there are items that dont even have a catalogue references point, so theres no way of knowing what the heck they are

or the pic shows the item in orange, but the title says 'burnt ocra' and you end up with a pale blue top :rotfl:
