They've been doing this on normal orders for a couple of months now and I think it's an improvement to their customer service. Debenhams have done it for a while now and it's good to know what's coming/when rather than the usual guessing game. Just don't want any item cancellation e-mails like last year....

    Can't believe they're dispatching already :j
I think Debenhams Online and Next Directory might have merged. I noticed recently that Debenhams have changed their invoices and packaging and its almost identical to NEXT.
  • Hi, I am courier and we are not working the sat 26th, but are working mon 28th because of the next sale.

They haven't merged but Ventura Network Distribution, a company Next owns, does all the warehousing, picking, dispatch and paper work for Debenhams online. Hence the similarity.

Did anyone order a Ipod nano 16GB that was in the sale? Could you please tell me if you did what generation is it, 4th or 5th with *video, radio etc*

I am away for a few weeks and my things will be delivered to my mothers and she wouldn't have a clue. Might return it if 4th. Thanks

you only get 10 days to return items to Next, so you might have problems with returns if going a way for a few weeks

That's why I need to know, so I can arrange to have the item returned in time. They did say it would take 2/4 weeks delivery time - that could mean one week or it will never arrive. I did speak to their CS but they didn't know which version it was and their technical person is away.

you need to compare the item number against that in the catalogue - then you would know which one it is

Im assuming its the one with camera, as you would have thought the old stock was long gone

You will be charged interest after 10 days but you can returns items after this time.

Last week I returned 3 items that I had had delivered in October as Xmas presents. It was only when I was wrapping everything that I realised that I didn't want them anymore and so returned them!!!!

I've never had problems returning items later than 10 days - if we've been on holiday or if I've been waiting for other sale items to arrive in order to compare and make up my mind which I want to keep (sizes etc...).

I didn't quite realise that you could go that far beyond it though bubbleyou!!! I tend to return to the store when things are out of the 10 days as they put it through without checking delivery dates
