i know in the last winter sale, that no couriers got an early slot (whereas they have before), so just assumed all staff had been vetoed. Infact im sure some shop staff also came on here, and said they only got to order with joe public

Has anyone spoken to customer services to ask when the vip invites are going out??? Also does anyone know how soon before the sale can they tell on the system if you are due to get an invite???

As a member of shop staff I've never had anything other than the standard VIP procedure along with all the other customers, is it just head office/directory staff who have that benefit? Just curious!

Shop staff get access to stock before the customers do, physical stock as opposed to online so thats their version of VIP

The paper copies of the sale listings came in last week and the first download to HHT's takes place this weekend, though you can spot the sale stock a mile off (its the only stock that the store has loads of!:D)

i have just read on another thread that the offers page is now closed. This means that they are getting ready for the sales.Anymore info anyone

Last day for customer orders is the 17th so its normally the sunday or monday for the VIP slots.
Most stores are opening on the 26th this year unless they are in a main shopping centre which is closed.

My OH works for them and this is from the memo he read.

sorry, dont understand your reply, in relation to anything i have written - so far i think i can concurred with most of your points

however, all the info i have given is correct, seeing as another member of staff has already said, they get no preferential treatment for online ordering, and even those who have said they do get in before job public, the only stock they have access to is that within the store they work at

so based on that, then i would say everything i have 'guessed' so far, has been backed up?

my courier doesnt get a vip slot when she bought my orders last 2 vip sales she moaned everything she wanted would be out of stock when she got to order when the sale was released to everyone. she did though get a sale listing sent to her

Read somewhere to check you account details, because when they changed the way you log in it has unchecked the offers box on your contact details so you wont get an email through letting you know if you get a vip slot, so please log in to your account go to my contact details and check the offers box is ticked otherwise you wont get your email.My dh was unchecked.
