Boots OOTW 18/12/09

My SIL had a Boots delivery thrown over the wall into her garden . As you can imagine could not really be salvaged when she found it ;(

My hat box that was out for delivery with DHL yesterday is now showing as out for delivery today, i hope it turns up today! I'm waiting in for it and need to go do the food shopping, cant go tomorrow as my Wii I ordered from amazon is due to be delivered :rotfl: tempting to go out today and let the DHL man bring it tomorrow when I am going to be in waiting for CityLink :rotfl::o

Be careful, if your delivery doesn't require a signature (most boots orders don't) they will leave it outside your house instead of coming back tomorrow! I keep checking the front door to make sure they havent left it outside again :rotfl:

According to DHL tracking page mine have been given yesterday to one of their cottage industry delivery agents, but "not delivered due to adverse weather". I wonder if DHL would give me his/her telephone number so I can pop round to collect it from them myself?

I got a delivery from John Lewis yesterday - I asked my husband which delivery agent they'd used, but he said he couldn't say. The driver had left the van at the top of the road and walked down with the package. Can't say I blame him, after all they'd just finished filming some scenes for celebrities on ice outside my house five minutes earlier.

Damn, I shall wait in for it then and keep checking my front door :rotfl: normally our DHL are quite good and ring the doorbell and throw it at you and run :rolleyes: its HDNL we have a major problem with round here!

Dont forget if you are collecting instore many Boots stores are open until 10pm tonight and tomorrow night

Mine arrived early too from an estimated 23rd delivery. Really pleased!

are people going to post up on Christmas Day the reactions to their boxes if they're giving them as gifts? I feel I will miss this forum when this thread stops! It would be a welcome relief on the day to have a reason for popping upstairs and logging onto the computer.
