    Part of the Furniture
samnjarv (missed your question): yes i meant the rolls of this offer.
Deano: did you order via the webpage, nPower phone number or local builder centre? Mine was via phoning local build center on first day of the offer and arrived in a couple of days - in hindsight i suspect this was the best way to get a quick delivery. Definitely not the temperatures to be fitting insulation though so i wouldn't push them too hard for it!

ordered direct on the phone...yep not the sort of weather to be fitting it,but as iv got 0 insulation in there its best to fit it now rather watching my ££ go out the roof

Are you insane? Its pefect weather for doing loft insulation. I recommend waiting until a nice 30 degree August day to get up there with all that protective gear/mask/goggles on :D
  • It is a bit "nippy" at the moment; but I do remember having to wait for a cloudy day in October to do the loft of a slate roofed Victorian property. Me and a load of flies who had come in to shelter from the coming winter.
  • I've been putting off installing my recently delivered insulation until it's above freezing. Agreed high summer wouldn't be much fun, but it's too cold for me right now (maybe I'm just not very hardy or am procrastinating).

    Hi everyone,

I have 13 rolls of the 170mm and 9 rolls of the 120mm going spare after finishing our loft! We got these for £1 each so would only be looking for that in return if someone wanted to take them off our hands. Perfect if you missed out on the deal! You will need a van, they are a lot longer than the average rolls you see in B&Q.

I'm in Leeds, Yorkshire. Please PM me if interested. Many thanks.
  • Update: as it was a little warmer this weekend I've made a start.

Conclusion: my loft is a very annoying place where it's a mission impossible type exercise to get from one end to the other.
