Do not want BT charge me 5 pound/month for nothing. So programmed as if alarm is triggered to ring my own mobile instead.

It did rang me when my wife forgot to witch it off after enter home from work. When I picked it up, it was just FAX noise. So I disconnect the call thought this is it. But it was not. 30 seconds later, it rang my mobile again, again, and again.... ... until I went home unplugged the telephone line!!

Anybody can shed some lights on how I can just let it rang me once? This is sufficient. Otherwise, each time it costs me 5p(18185).

    Thanks.

When I had my Visonic Powermax, you had to press a number on the phone keypad when it phoned otherwise it would ring the next person on its list...

Search the net for the proper manual for the Powermax and that may help....or start pressing 1....2...3.....you get the picture!

    Good luck!

I tested this had no fax noise just a silent call and no repeat calls.

Did you wife turn off the alarm?

I don't get why you have this problem but suggest if you do accidentally set it off, you arm and disarm it which resets it clearing the alerts and should stop it calling you.

EDIT If the above does not work try leaving BT as your second number then after calling your mobile it will call BT, but as your not with BT it wont action the call but should stop the alarm making further atempts as it knows it made contact.

When I tested it with a mobile I only changed the first number so this could by why I did not get the repeat calls
