Anyway, back on topic...GG - a thought just occurred to me, you are getting your Child Benefit for the girlies aren't you?

And you HAVE applied for your child tax credit haven't you?
(Unless, of course, your income is more than £50k excluding maintenance )
Seriously, I hope you are okay, and taking each day as it comes xxxI'm a retired employment solicitor. Hopefully some of my comments might be useful, but they are only my opinion and not intended as legal advice.0 -

Just wanted to offer my support, and to add well done for maintaining relationships with the M-i-l and f-i-l. So any people stop contact with the in laws when a marriage fails. I split with DD dad almost 17 yrs ago and we still see his Mum on a regular basis. She is the most wonderful thing on this earth, she has accepted my 3 boys as her own grandkids and they call her Nanny( like Loopy or was it Lazy???) and my OH is treated as a friend when we visit. it really IS worth preserving that relationship.
I've always maintained why should ex m-i-l miss out on her grandaughter growing up just cos her son is a numpty.
You're doing a grand job, keep up the good work.0 -

Just wanted to say I've been following this thread and am so impressed with both the dignity and composure you have shown, and also how focussed you are on your children.
The recent events must have been incredibly difficult for you to stomach yet you are handling them so well without bitterness or recrimination (at least not in your posts
).
What a fool your husband has been to throw away a lady like you for something so pointless.
Good luck with everything xxx0 -
