Child Maintenance???????

If there is arrears on the house you and your child is living in then I suggest you get that sorted out asap even if it means you paying it yourself otherwise you will risk getting asked to leave. Then you will be in an even worse position, and when a new potential landlord asks your current one for a reference they will be told you dont pay rent on time. Then you risk nobody letting you rent a house
The house is council, i have a suspended repossession order on it, with condition of me paying £3 something a week straight out my income support, i have now come off this so they will not be receiving rent it is likely i will be evicted now, i have to ring them tommorrow to explain the circumstances0 -

im not quite sure how to prove to the csa about him doing more hours then they know about?
It's OK, I know exactly where you are coming from.
You are mad that he can get away with paying what he should, while he swans about with his GF.
I've been there too. I used to be livid that my OH was working all hours, while the ex was pishing it up every weekend and crying poverty.
But think about this.
When the children grow up (I'm assuming they are young?), they will realise who was there for them, who put food in their tummies and who put a roof over their head. They will realise that Dad didn't put them first and that he shirked his responsibilities.
My children have more respect for my OH than they do for their Dad, which is sad, but it's his own fault because of the way he acted when they were younger. (They are 13 and almost 12 now)

Take a step of your high horse love.sarahloveschris wrote: »Yeah i can, when it is her taking the money away from my daughter!!!!!
if he can afford to rent privately with her, run a car/van, and go out thurs-sunday, therefore he can pay more for his daughter. He expects my partner to pay for everything for my daughter:mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad::mad:*SIGH*

At the moment neither of us are working, we have a claim in for job seekers, but are both applying for 5-6 jobs if not more a day, he had a phone interview today and passed so hopefully he will be successful, he was the only suitable applicant with a sales bkground!!
I am hoping to somehow get the money and have them paid off my mid march time as im due to move then:T0 -
Well if you are getting JSA you can pay some of the arrears from that like you were doing when on IS0

Trust me 'love' i am not on any high horse, i have 3 children all i am expecting is that my daughters father pays for her and takes on his responsibilities!!!!!! it is not wrong for a mother to expect a childs father to be doing the right thing0 -
