    Candle still lit for Tris.
Server's down at work 6 weeks & counting, makes life very difficult.
Sold a scarf for £10, so I'm off to Aldi tomorrow to spend it.
Smokey, be very careful with the Christmas tree, it sounds painful.
    Have a good evening everyone.
    Hugs Hester

This is the third time I have tried to post and got logged out so fingers crossed.

Thinking of Tris and MSD (and pennypincher).

Spent the morning at warfarin clinic and then shopping at Tesco. Fridge is now full of fresh chicken, lamb joint, low fat sausages, turkey rashers, cheese, yoghurt and fruit.

Lunch was YS rainbow trout and made a huge hotpot in the slow cooker of beef, onions, carrots, leek, parsnips , turnip and potato.

Having spent ages looking online for a nice top (ones I liked were over £40 each and not spending that especially while losing weight) I decided to look at Tesco stuff.

Saw a nice sapphire silky long sleeved top (just in) and also some short sleeved silky tops in jewel colours that were half price. Tried on sapphire, emerald and amethyst tops and asked DH which he preferred and got the "rabbit in headlights look".

Nipped quickly to checkout and bought all three as they will all go with black trousers or skirt that I already have and give me a choice over the holiday season. Could have got myself into tops two sizes down but decided "sausage in skin" was not a good look and opted for one size down so things "flow" and "skim!"

DD (20) comes home from university on Saturday and DH will drive there to bring her back, leaving me at home as he thinks the drive would be too much for me just now.

Most presents wrapped up apart from a few things still to be delivered and DD(15) very pleased we found the hessian advent calender and filled pouches with Lindt d'or which is her favourite.

Hugs to everybody and see you later

A cream crackered and punctured Haribo reporting for duty. :o

I truly have hardly stopped today but as it's been mostly OS I should really post about it. I would tell OH about it but he'll just get that vacant "why in the name of all that is holy did I marry this mad woman" face on again and the mood I'm in I would punch it. :D

My Dad and Stepmum are arriving tommorrow for the weekend and as I want to make the most of my time with them I am getting ahead with the cooking.
I've also been asked to contribute to the school fair on Saturday so I have churned out dozens of mince pies, muffins, millionare's shortbread, a venison pie, pea and ham soup, 2 loaves and a gingerbread house. Also squeezed in some cleaning with the help of my friend but I need to finish the bedrooms tommorrow. The meal tommorrow night is venison pie with HG celeriac and potato dauphinoise and buttered cabbage, sprouts and chestnuts with sticky toffee pud and vanilla cream for dessert.

Still have to add the buttons to my garland and bath the girls and they have to complete a 60 cm model of a robot each before bed.
None of this is helped by the fact that I can't open the back door without the robin flying in and pooing in the kitchen and the cat chasing the dog who has made off with and hidden the ham bone. The dog has also developed a love of the "little sausages" that the cat leaves for her in her litter tray *insert vomiting smile* _pale_ Depending on OH's behaviour I may not tell him about the dog's new habit until she's given him her evening face licks. :rotfl:
Still.... at least there is wine.

Glad the nativity went well Bitsy.
Well done on the scarf sale Hester.
Hope LO is better soon Smoky.

Apologies if I've forgotten anyone. :o
    Hope everyone else is well.

Oh my it's cold here brrrrrr! Beautifully sunny though.

My day at work flew by. Tomorrow we are having a meeting in the morning and then going for Christmas lunch and a few drinkies :) looking forward to relaxing.

I got home at 4 and was starving so made some nachos for a snack, may have another bite to eat tonight if I'm hungry. I put WM on as I'm away this weekend so needed to wash work clothes ready for next week. I've loaded DW to go on tonight too.

I'm just debating whether to pop to the shopping centre now. I was going after work but I had to come back cos a man was coming to look at my window that is drafty. He has just left so I think I will pop over to try get my last 2 Xmas presents before I settle down for evening.

    Have a good evening all

Its to do with what they eat. My westie developed this habit when she was a pup..its very common and called carphagia???

Anyway to dogs the sausages are very tasty particular as cat food is tasty. When mine ate posh dog food it became very bad but when we put on her a very basic food with dry food she totally stopped! Get dog wormed because she might have them and be extra hungry.
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
