oops - my brother has just arrived home from work - i have got a batch of salt dough decorations in the oven (i know if i dont try a craft idea out first it will go wrong) he greeted me with 'great, you're making biscuits' - never mind he will get over it!

absolutely totally loved it what a fantastic christmassy programme, easy watching some great tips, some a bit late on in the day wish it had been televised sooner, will definately be buying the book in march and already have notes ready to start xmas 2010.

I would like to thank Kirstie for the inspiration.as my Boyfriend & I made this yesterday



This is our 1st ever door wreath and it's homemade:D

it cost 50p for a wire ring from the florist,free clippings from the garden & a friends garden,pine cones from the potpourri which I sprayed silver ( spray from the 99p store) wire & ribbon i already had

I love it!! & keep opening the door to look at it :rotfl:

This is really lovely!! Well done! I'm thinking of making one too, can I ask did you use moss inside like Kirsty or something else?

Thank you:D

We couldn't source any moss,so didn't use anything! we just attached the foliage to the wire using twisted wire
We figured it was all evergreen and normally when you trim the hedges it takes ages for the clippings to dry up,so it would be ok for the short time that it would be hung on the door;)

I was surprised how easy it was to make,and will be making one for my MIL next year (she has already bought one this year)
