My ASM said that I could drop my road as they are my neighbours and my road wasn't allocated at the time. Should I take the book back to the rep that's just dropped it and explain the situation to her? I've only had orders from 1 person on my road but obviously I don't want to lose her as a customer seeing as it looks like I'm gonna be losing some of my other customers due to the army/navy thing but I don't want to start a turf war with this new rep! It really seems as if since I started doing Avon (only on my 3rd campaign now) my area is becoming completely saturated with reps!
from the sounds of things, your road wasn't "officially" allocated to you at the time - so this rep may have "officially" been allocated your road. I'd have a polite word with her, and say you have customers at x houses, but she's welcome to deliver to the remainder of the houses. Means you get to keep your existing customers then.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
we are new to the forum but have been overwhelmed with great advice given to other members , my partner and i have been at the avon now for about 6 months now and are having a good time with it , we have a great system that works , i do all the hard work like the walking, canvessing, collecting brochures in and getting wet when it rains and my partner sorts the deliverys out and gets me to drive her to our customers houses with the order and collects the money . in return she makes me unlimited amounts of cups of coffee/tea as part payment for my work . my question is should i be entitled to biscuits too?0

DINGDONG - you wont be able to get a replacement through the website from c3 if your in c6 (which im guessing you are as you said can only see c4 and C5) as you can only get replacements from the previous 2 campaigns. Email them being very nice though and see if they will do a replacement for it manually. IF NOT im afraid you'll have to credit it and re-order it from a current book! hope that helps.
Im a bit annoyed... 2 items charged for but missing from my order.... got my "immediate replacements" today (a week on) and they have sent the WRONG mascara and WRONG conditioner BUT invoiced me for the right ones!!!!!!:mad::mad:now customers gonna have to wait even longer!!!
Also having a poop campaign!! Only got £400 so far in orders and collected most my regulars (know it sounds alot already but im aiming for £980 a camp) hoping some people who forgot to leave book out have got massive orders for me lol... gonna have to do a massive recanvass over the weekend too now!0 -
Hello i am Debs and very new to Avon!
Just ordered from my first campaign and although i ordered a lot for myself i still did about £120 of customer orders. These were all from people i knew!
On Monday i started on my streets. I dropped off and said i would be back today, 1 answered the door and gave me a order, another said they lost the book and no-one else was in.
I dont have any calling cards to post through doors so i wondered if anyone had made themselves one that you could email me so i could use?
Thanks in advance xC7 - 221.05 :j C8 - 308.07 :j C9 - 250.84 :j C10 - £525.25 :j:j C11 - £467.91 :j C12 - 491.44 :j C13 - £442.09 :j C14 - £357.95 :j0 -

Thanks to SophiSoph and MarsdenCuckoo yesterday. I got my expired books out today, put my details on this brochure is expired and do you want to be a rep card, and stapled them to my books.
Went to a territory which was assigned to the rep who was moving and does not return my calls, emails or texts. Dropped a note through her door asking her to call me. I dropped all the expired books.
I had met a lady on the bus who needed directions somewhere, on the way back from dropping the books, we met her again. I asked her if she had found the place and she said yes, and then I asked her if she bought Avon or was a rep herself. She asked was I a rep and did I sell Avon and I said yes. She said she used to buy it and send it back home but stopped. Then we saw the bus and she wanted to catch it, so gave her my business card and asked her to call me so we could arrange for her to get a book. fingers crossed.
Took DS on the tube as he had helped me post the books and while we were at town, got a phone call from one of the houses I had dropped expired books at. The young lady wanted to buy some items but wanted to know if they were still in stock as it was an expired book. I told her I would come round and drop a new book with an order form. She said she was free, today, tomorrow.
Took DS home and left him with his Dad, went to her house, and her brother answered the door. He went away to call her and came back with "she is in the Bath". Now, sceptical me took this to mean that she no longer wanted to buy and this was a nice brush off, but I left the books and sent her a text message. I told her the extra book was for any friends that might be interested in looking, and if they placed an order, i would give her a free gift.
Fingers crossed, she is genuine and really was in the bath!0 -
I've been thinking about becoming an Avon Rep for ages and have been really enjoying reading this thread - it's given me loads of inspiration. Anyway I've contacted Avon today via there website to apply to be a rep, and I just wondered if anyone could tell me how long it will take for them to get back to me - I can't wait to get started! xxxxx0
