I asked Avon about an item I wanted to return. I had credits pending that I hadn't put through then all of a sudden the credits had been submitted along with a ring set in the wrong size I had enquired about. Thought at first i had done something wrong and submitted it. A few days ago I contacted them about the ring set that I had problems with them having sent wrong item to replace it. All of a sudden today again I had credits saved but not submitted and they have been submitted along with the ring set I had enquired about!!! Thing is the set was returned with my returns when I got my last order last week. I know for a fact that the item no relating to the ring set was not put on by me!! What the heck is going on that they can just go into your account and change stuff. I keep up to date with what I have returned and always deduct from my balance now I have to beware that i will have a 2 recredits for items I didn't return as I didn't blinking have them to return in the first place!!!!I have never met a calorie yet I didn't like!!0

bargainsearcher wrote: »Hi everyone. I have been hanging around here for a few weeks reading this thread from start to finish. Finally took the plunge this week and was signed up by my ASM on Thurs. Feeling excited, nervous and eager to get started, only not this quick! My ASM has given me 20 books for C5 and C6 (nothing else), but orders need to be in by Tues 2nd March. How on earth am I expected to get round everyone and get books back by then. A bit fed up about this and I haven't even got going yet. I have done my best, but think I will have to concentrate on C6 big style. I'll let you know how I get on. Cheers everyone!
Good luck BS; sure your ASM will give you extra time to get some orders in but got to admit that it hardly seems fair to sign you up to a campaign that's just about to finish. SL's tend to sign you up from the following campaign rather than the current one as it gives you more time to get some orders together. (Looks like this is the second instance I've come across recently of an ASM putting themselves before a newly signed rep )Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Definately go for family/friends/work etc first - leave the books with them and ask them to let you have their orders by 8pm on your deadline day, gives them a bit longer to look, and maybe even ask if they'll show any of their friends/neighbours etc to help you out - maybe offer a free gift/discount if they do.
For your territory - obviously you won't get round it all, but do whatever you can this time. If you don't get enough orders to hit mov - speak to your asm about getting an extension. asms have targets to meet, and they have one for getting new reps into C5 - which will be why she is wanting you to submit an order in such a short time frame, so she might give you a freebie or something if she knows you are struggling to meet mov.
Having said that - it is possible to get orders within the time you have if you go for it big time, good luck!
Very diplomatic, lozza! :TMake the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Hi Denise
Yes Avon can go into your account, so can your SL and ASM. I have had a situation where I had to email Avon about one of my Rep's products, she wanted to do a return but we could no longer see the invoice. So Avon went into her account and did the return by they use the code 29, which distinguishes they have been actioning your account, they also did it for me when I had to return my Storm bag which had broke.0 -
At the end of the day, if an ASM signs up a new Rep, they are going to try and sign them into the current campaign, even if there is only 2 days to go, because they have targets to meet, and that one Rep could qualify them for their target.0

Found this on another forum:
For the last 2 campaigns I have offered a free product from the brochure.
In C4/3 I gained : 5 new customers - free product - Naturals Room Spray @ 99p
In C5/4 I gained : 1 new customers plus got 11 regulars who haven't spent in ages to spend between £2.99 and £37 - free product - Senses Shower Gel 250ml @ 99p.
I usually choose something at 99p from the current brochure or through back order, this will help my sales target as well.
As the Senses Shower Gel is still 99p in C5 I can back order in C6 and still tempt people in.
Tried and tested, it actually works.
I put a sticker on the front of the book saying - for example :
*FREE*
AVON CARE HANDCREAM 125ml
CHOOSE FROM PAGE 112
ONE PER CUSTOMER ONLY (USUALLY £3.50)
I also put a flyer inside the book saying the same.
Will definately be trying this myself soon - I have a huge stash of the sense shower gels in the conservatory, so will wait until they are more than 99p in the books & run this offer to help shift some, and hopefully tempt people to order!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0 -
Lozza, are they saying that the customer has to buy something from P112 to qualify for the "free gift"?0
-
No that the free gift they can choose is from page 112Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

ahh get it now, thanks Lozza. So if there was a page of the showergels at £3.50, you would offer them one free, if they placed an order, from that page, as long as you have the stock at 99p.0
