I've just been looking through Hello Tomorrow C 9 (order online in C7) and the new brochure bags are in there. It says they're bigger, stronger and re-sealable and a pack of 50 is 80p.
xx
Thanks, remember reading something along those lines too. Anyone got first hand knowledge or are they just as bad as the original ones?Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Thank you.
Even though I have spoken to my area manager on both accounts I have just emailed her with the above (to a similar effect) reiterating but with the addition of...
"I felt quite threatened last night and the way she spoke to me, I am near to tears and tempted to quit altogether! But I do enjoy it and have put in a lot of hard work. I just do not feel that I have the energy and time to compete with another rep who is unemployed and is obviously breaching the rules and most certainly not listening and going to stop. I feel that I am not getting the support that is actually going to make her stop. Is there not anything more official that can be done to stop her doing this instead of a telling off as this is obviously falling on deaf ears! At what point do Avon take serious action about reps that are breaking the rules and considered ending the contract - she obviously has no intention of stopping on this street and I can see that when she has her baby it will be the easier option for her to continue in this manner! I am not sure if I should forward this direct to head office or if indeed they would do anything anyway."
Sorry, empathise with you but in all honesty can't see that Avon would get involved in such matters. We're not actually "reps" i.e. we don't work for Avon; we're agents and self-employed so that means when it comes to territory we're basically on our own. Am still confused re. the relationship of being self-employed and Avon allocating territory. Very grey area. When it comes down to it I tell my customers they have every right to order from whichever agent they wish. (I 'go the extra mile' but even so have lost 5 customers this week - 2 maybe temporarily but time will tell. On the other hand I've, hopefully, found 2 new Avon customers by doing Betterware - swings and roundabouts and all that.)
On a brighter note, maybe you'll have a clear field shortly i.e. when the baby comes?Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

My ASM is really pushing me to be a SL... (aswell as go for the number 1 spot in my area with £16k a year sales... is she CRAZY?!!?? :rotfl::rotfl:)... but reading from SL's here and a few places im starting to think my constant refusal and wanting to concentrate on being a rep is the right desicion! Seems alot of work for little reward.
Could be wrong on this but have had recent experience where an ASM was deffo putting herself first at the expense of others. Human nature, I guess, but don't be misled into thinking that your ASM has YOUR interests at heart! Sad but true.....Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

yeah i deffo think this is the case here which is why i have held off... i have no intention of being SL at min... struggling enough to keep ontop of being a rep :rotfl:0 -
well i was just going through the orders i got on Tues/Wed when i delivered and there's one with no name and i don't recognise the writing.the strange thing is that everybody is accounted for so i dunno whose it is-and it's for £10.25
Annoying isn't it? Just order the stuff & hopefully the customer will eventually shout for it. The number of times I've trawled through my old order forms to identify unsigned/unaddressed order forms.
If they don't come forward you could put a note with the next batch of catalogues asking if someone's missing an order.
Good luck.:)"Sometimes letting things go is an act of far greater power than defending or hanging on.”0 -
Well I did my first load of catalogue drops yesterday evening. I already have 3 guarenteed orders and will be picking up another 20 books on Tuesday morning. I can't pick up on Sunday or Monday where I live so have to leave the books with people that long. My worry is not getting books back but i've written a note on the front of the ziploc bags I left them saying 'please leave out for collection even if no order placed'. I'm quite excited at starting Avon but have to resist buying all the stuff on offer or else i'll never make a profit!0

Everyone has different dates, my C5 goes in March 8th but I'm on the very last mailplan. If possible, give your ASM a call and ask her. You can only use your C5 books for your C5 campaign, then you can used C5 & C6 on your C6 campaign and so on xxSmall business owner 🧵 Ex MSE comper 🏆 Student loan repayer 💴 Romanian dog rescuer 🐕 Hopefully a cost of living survivor 🤞🏻0 -
If you double check on the leaflets that your asm left you with, it should have some order/delivery dates entered - look towards the back of the large booklet that has lots of pictures in hopefully she has written in there. As melvis says, you can use C5 & C6 books during C6 campaign.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0
