Thanks, remember reading something along those lines too. Anyone got first hand knowledge or are they just as bad as the original ones?

You can only buy them from HT7, so may order some to see what they look like, delivery not until 16 march.

Is that good value? Call me 'tight' but don't think I'd want to pay £60 nett for that...... :(

I would say NO. If you look at the list, a lot of samples. Which is fine, if your customers buy the bigger value product after trying the sample.

In my opinion better off buying the £20 offers they give you as you are more likely to sell stuff from in there.

Yeah I got the £20 sampling packs last year (when they were on offer at £15 including a vanity bag), and they are really good value for money. A large amount of samples, from across all the ranges.

  • just thought I would pop in and say hi! just started and have got C4 & C5 books. Apparently I am allowed until 5th March to get my order in, so my asm says. Ive got 153 houses to do. she did say I wont be able to do everyone this time as ive started quite late. But I have got 45 books to get out. might have to start tommorow! lol.:rotfl: any hips or tips from some of you pros out there that could help me? I must admit, I tried Avon 2 years ago, but gave up as I just wasnt making any money at all. my asm have given me a completely different area now, so hopefully, I will have more luck this time!! thanks x

  • Hi everyone. I have been hanging around here for a few weeks reading this thread from start to finish. Finally took the plunge this week and was signed up by my ASM on Thurs. Feeling excited, nervous and eager to get started, only not this quick! My ASM has given me 20 books for C5 and C6 (nothing else), but orders need to be in by Tues 2nd March. How on earth am I expected to get round everyone and get books back by then. A bit fed up about this and I haven't even got going yet. I have done my best, but think I will have to concentrate on C6 big style. I'll let you know how I get on. Cheers everyone!

    Welcome jasperconran and bargainsearcher.

You won't be expected to get around everyone by your due dates - even though your ASM might hint at it.

The best thing to do if you have family and friends that might be interested in Avon, show them a book asap and get them to text, email you with their order before your submission date.

Any books you have left over give to some of your territory, and get back as many as you can by the date due to submit your order. Hopefully you will have gained enough orders to hit Minimum Order Value.

After your submit date, you can concentrate on getting your books out properly to territory, etc.

Good luck to you both and remember we are here to help.

for useful suggestions Elliebee and Lozza1985 have both done really useful posts on tips for your business, if you do a search for both, you will find them.

Definately go for family/friends/work etc first - leave the books with them and ask them to let you have their orders by 8pm on your deadline day, gives them a bit longer to look, and maybe even ask if they'll show any of their friends/neighbours etc to help you out - maybe offer a free gift/discount if they do.

For your territory - obviously you won't get round it all, but do whatever you can this time. If you don't get enough orders to hit mov - speak to your asm about getting an extension. asms have targets to meet, and they have one for getting new reps into C5 - which will be why she is wanting you to submit an order in such a short time frame, so she might give you a freebie or something if she knows you are struggling to meet mov.

Having said that - it is possible to get orders within the time you have if you go for it big time, good luck!

  • Hi - One of my customers has asked if I can get Rare Saphires Perfume as she really really loved it. Its not in any of the current books. Does anyone know if its possible for me to get one anywhere? Or does anyone have a bottle lying around they would be willing to sell?

  • Try ebay :)

On another note - I've hit HOV on campaign 7 :D mostly due to one of my customers ordering £106.50 worth of stuff :P i'm chuffing :)
  • Well done you! Could do with a few orders like that myself lol!
