Bit annoyed the reversalist beauty bonus bags are OOS! as are the cat manicure sets! Gonna have lots of disapointed new customers as they went for these offers
Still managed £922 in sales for c5 though! My best camp ever as rep!
Lets hope i can keep it up as just decided this weekend to give up my second job in a shop and concentrate on avon as it was working out £2.90 an hour due to tax and bus fare and id prefer to be at home with my little girl for them 10 hours a week than earn that little for leaving her!
£922!!?!?? I wish I'd sell stuff worth half of thatcongratulations!

Last time they had bonus and bags went out of stock they sent brown ones with gold flowers another time i got black silky one with flowers.Thought the brown ones were poor substitute and emailed them. I have 2 bonus on this next order but they are from creative ordering so not so important they were to go in give away box. If it is black ones they send they are probably better for me anyway I have a lot of older women who would prefer that to the red fake leather. keeping those to give to daughters friends!!!I have never met a calorie yet I didn't like!!0

Can anyone suggest some idea's (or give me a kick up the bum) to increase my sales. At the moment I get about £400 of orders each campaign, from territory, friends, family, work, customers taking the books to work - which isn't really a lot considering how many places the books are going.
I'm planning on recanvassing next campaign (as will need more books, i'm a SL and usually have some left over but haven't this campaign). It just annoys me when people aren't in / don't have the money as my territory isn't on my doorstep and I work full time so find it a real pain having to go back several times, but I suppose it's what i've got to do to earn that bit extra.
Any other suggestionsJan 2010 - Overdraft £9,500 / Credit Cards £5,000 / Loan £9,500 / Mortgage £128,000
Jun 2010 - Overdraft £0 / Credit Card £0 / Loan £0 / Mortgage £125,250
Oct 2011 - Overdraft £7,000  / Mortgage £115,295
Dec 2014 - Overdrafts 15,000 / Credit Cards 16,000 / Loans 25,000 / Cars 18,000 / Mortgages 232,5000 -
Do you let your customers know what time/day you are going to deliver & remind them of how much they owe? I do this and find it means practically everyone has the correct money ready, or at least plenty to pay it. I give them a time slot on a particular day - like Friday 6-8pm. If anyone isn't in when I go to deliver, they get a polite note letting them know I've been, and asking them to contact me to rearrange delivery. Its helped to "train" my customers to let me know in advance if they aren't going to be in when I deliver - as they know if they miss me, they'll have to wait a few days before I'll re-deliver - I always make out I'm busy/at work, but it makes them realise I won't keep popping round on the off-chance they are in, its very rare now that people aren't in when they know I'll be deliverying. Might take a while to get your customers co-operating more, but definately worth a try if you don't already!Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0

laurasavon, I think if you are doing £400 of sales each campaign that is really good! I wish I could achieve that, even better the £922 Johanne has reached this campaign!
It sounds like you are doing quite a lot as well as working full time. The only other thing I might suggest if you have time is advertising in papers, or newsagents if you want to try and increase your customer base, leaving books at gyms?0 -
lozza, the customers I have at the mo are fab, they have the exact money ready and text me if they won't be in on the day i'm due to deliver (always the Saturday). I dropped the customers who were messing me about but I think now Christmas and all the credit card bills are out the way I might have more luck.
aureol, i don't think £400 is bad but I know I could do more if i put some effort into it. Over the past year i spent quite a bit of time building up the sales leader side as i used to do my full time hours over 4 days so had a day for recruiting but now I want to increase my own sales. Not sure about the gym, i'm not a member so wouldn't easily be able to get to people to deliver, I suppose I could ask the staff thoughJan 2010 - Overdraft £9,500 / Credit Cards £5,000 / Loan £9,500 / Mortgage £128,000

Takes some time to work through i.e. to work to your advantage but....
1. Is there a local charity, who may like your help (offer them 10% discount on sales)?
2. Offer a gift for 'refer a friend', who becomes a new customer
3. Give a 'Congratulations for being the biggest order in my current campaign' gift...... (give a few!)
4. Use an incentive scheme ie free gift for an order of £x amount
As for doing your deliveries, maybe the Betterware system may help - they put the same book back through the door with a note saying 'your order of £x has arrived; I'll deliver tomorrow between ... and .... and will be glad to collect any further order you may have from this book at that time. If the time is not convenient for you, please call me on ......." Obviously, re-orders could only be taken on anyone on your front campaign but irrespective of whether you got re-orders or not then it flags the time spot of delivery and hopefully they'll get back to you to arrange a different time if not convenient.Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

My friend returned a diamondesque wedding and engagement ring set that has tarnished and peeled from very little use. Organised the replacement via the internet contact us as system would only give me 2 campaigns for replacements. Anyway the ring arrived today via the post or rather it was supposed to. Instead I got Aqua earrings!!!! called and got foreign gentleman. I clearly explained that I had asked for replacemnt for the ring and that today I had received a replacement a pair of earrings. I had the paperwork to say it was for the ring. anway after 15 mins I basically hung up after asking 3 times for a supervisor. He kept telling me that yes I had asked for a replacement and that it would be with me he could not get that the item I had was the replacement that they had replaced my ring with a pair of earrings by accident!!!. Hubby was in the room and didn't know anything about the call but he understood. Never again. Am I able to make a complaint because I feel it is ridiculous that we have to use internet contact to be understood and that sometimes we don't want to wait 2 or days to find a resolution.I have never met a calorie yet I didn't like!!0

Yes interestingly still no response from my "contact us" message to Avon regarding animal testing. I've found the answer myself now (have decided to go with the official line from Avon), but will email again today and see how long it takes them this time!!
PS Just done the "contact us" via the website, and have told them that this is losing them sales as my customer refuses to order until her query has been answered. Lets see if that puts them into action!!0 -
