question...i have a 'lead' and she is asking about whether she can stop if she doesnt like it after a few camps etc. Ive heard about people 'owing avon' -even when they have no funds left unpaid etc-when they stop.(in fact everyone ive spoken to has complained about this) is this because of the credit limit? Hopefully my potential rep wont want to leave if and when she starts but its a good thing to know either way.camp 12=£443 13=£425 14=£277 15=£474 16=£492 17=£438 18=£437 1=£319 2=£153:o 3=£220 :jSALES LEADER:j4=£202 5=£191 6=£167 7=£193 8=£216 9=£211

sophisoph, I had 2 of my team leave after a few campaigns, both paid up their accounts, no balance outstanding, and as far as I know, neither have been told they owe Avon.0

Yeah you can register as you are basically a sl with having signed people up.
It's www.flissys.com I think it's great as the people on there basically trained me and most of my team are a result of leads bought on there. It's an expensive way to build your team but it helps me as I don't have much time to generate my own leads. They aren't guaranteed to come to anything but I've got some fantastic reps from some of the leads so it can work. It's also nice to be able to get input and opinions from people who have been doing this for many years and who are higher up and learning how they managed it.
Thanks, lozza, have applied and waiting to hear now so I can log on.....Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

can anyone please help - my order due today - by ten pm - and i cant log in and help line closed - is there any grace on when i can put order in ? maybe tomorra? or am i dreaming?
Think this is 'quite normal' if you leave your order to the last day suggested by Avon. I came across exactly the same problem the first time I put my order in..... since then I always try and put it in a few days early. Could be wrong but am guessing that the website gets clogged up with so many people trying to log on/input their orders at the same time?Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

Similar but different..... My SL showed me my area recently via her SL website and it showed up a lot of black marks i.e. bad debtors, in my town. Does anyone know please:
a) Do such black marks affect people's general credit rating?
b) Do - or should - debts actually get written off if someone dies?Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

MC, these blackmarks are usually people that have signed up as reps with Avon, then gone to debt, ie have bought goods but not given the money owed to Avon, then not paid up at all.
If any of these black marks try to join avon again, it will be flagged up they owe Avon money. Don't know what happens after that.0 -

Thanks (again) aureol, just wondering if Avon shares that info with the 'general world' or whether it's just for Avon's internal credit control system? Reason I am querying is because I noticed a black mark on a local address where I know someone died suddenly. Very sad case and I can well imagine that Avon 'got lost' amongst all the grief at the time. Just wondering how important Avon's black mark may be to them ongoing.....Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon)

That's so sad. Really can't answer that question, best thing to do is send Avon an email asking a general question about this type of situation.0

Yes not paying Avon can affect peoples credit rating, as eventually the debt does get referred to a debt collection agency, same as if you didn't pay a store/credit card. But living in a house which is a debt address doesn't affect anything as it's only for avons reference so they know to do a thorough check if someone living at that address applies to become a rep ie as it could be the same person as left with debt before. No idea how long Avon hang onto this info for but I get the impression it would be for a few years at least hence the amount of black dots as it's years worth.Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A0
