Where can I find a list of recently discontinued products? One of my customers usually orders the clearskin astringent but we can't see it anywhere in brochure 3, 4 or 5 xx

If she's that desperate, you could always buy one from Ebay?

This one ends in just under an hour: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Avon-Clearskin-Purifying-Astringent_W0QQitemZ110490714635QQ but I'm sure there are loads more.

    A couple of quick questions...

On page 22? of start up booklet 1 it says........
30% and 25% commission respectively for MOV and HOV.
    I'm confused! Doesn't take much!

I started on C18.. hit HOV C18 and C1, 99p on C2 !!!!, hit HOV on C3 and I think C4 so do I qualify for any samples etc or have I missed out due to C2?

    Thank you x

Just ignore those figures it's to do with vat, we actually just get 20 or 25% depending on your sales. Don't worry about missing out on c2 you can still qualify for the next lot of samples.

In HT7 on page 12 there is a table for the Clearskin changeover. Purifying Astringent Blackhead Clearing is replaced by Blemish Clearing Daily Astringent. Purifying Astringent Normal-to-Oily Skin is replaced by Pore Penetrating Cooling Astringent.

  • Hiya girls,
Signing in as an Avon newbie! I have just signed up for doing Avon in my area (Mainly because my rep is pregnant and will be leaving work soon, so wont get any books for a while!). Just wondered, can you make a loss with Avon? And is there anything I should be awrae of? Not sure if I am going to put brochures through doors, we havent had any here where I live (New build development).
Have read the tips on the first page, but cant scroll back through all the pages!!
Any advice will be greatly recieved!

No she's not desperate as she stocks up when it's on offer (3 for £5 etc) but will need some within the next few campaigns ... thanks for your help though :D xx

bf; don't wish to dishearten you but there's lots of advice here on all three threads..... if you can't be bothered to read back why should everyone else repost? Avon entails a lot of hard work before you'll see any great benefits and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

As for 'making a loss', it will all depend on what you order for yourself but there again I guess you'll still be getting product at discounted prices so.... in short 'No, very unlikely you'll make a loss'

    Good luck.
Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon ;))
