oh dear Elliebee. My courier is great if I am not in, he will take it to another rep's house and leave me a card, if my neighbour is not in.

Yes, the MOV is back to £78 for C4.

I've dropped C4 to 126 homes (this is my 1st campaign) and I've only got 9 orders totalling £93.75!! This works out as only 7% of customers ordering! Also 25 of the 126 have told me that they don't want any more brochures - so that's 20% of my potential customers gone in a flash! QUOTE]

Don't panic! Bearing everything in mind, that's pretty good. You just need to keep it up and be reliable and you'll pick up more customers each campaign. I drop to everyone (except those who have said no thanks) so probably 75-80% of my drops don't order but I still pick up 2 or 3 more customers each campaign - some people really are either just waiting for you to be reliable, or they genuinely don't want anything at that time but will order in the future if you persevere!

Its also worth thinking about what you would find useful if you were a customer rather than a rep. For example, I drop a note in to my customers a few days before their delivery with their order value and the date & approx time (ie after 5:30pm) when I'll be delivering. One of my customers said she really liked that because the rep before didn't do it and she found it a nightmare trying to remember when she'd be back and what she had ordered.

(Exactly the same as me when I was a customer rather than a rep. Think I was a bit of a nightmare customer actually!!)

You really do just need to persevere - you'll be surprised. My order value is usually much the same each campaign now but as I'm picking up new customers each campaign, these cover for the customers who don't order every camp.

PS I would rather that someone said "no thanks" rather than put the book in the bin!

Thanks for the mothers day leaflet - Have printed some off for my brochures tonight!

    Hi everyone!

So I'd like to have an Avon Party at my home, and I've been thinking that a 'nail party' would be a good one to start with. All the Avon nail treatments and enamels are pretty inexpensive (even at full brochure price), and I've noticed that some are half price in C3 so I could order some 'demo' products with my C4 order.

Do you think this is a good idea?

My thoughts behind doing a nail party was that I could use the same products again. I wouldn't want to re-use foundations and stuff like that because of hygiene - kwim?

Also, in the Hello Tomorrow C6 brochure the Nailwear Pro Nail Enamels are £2.80 each (normal selling price £6). I was thinking about buying a good selection of shades for demoing? HOWEVER, I was reading the online 'news' section and noticed that in Hello Tomorrow 8 they will be offering "a fantastic pack of full-sized Nailwear enamels for you to demonstrate. All 17 shades are included".

Anyone know how much these nail enamels packs are priced at? Should I wait until then????

    questions, questions, LOL!!

    Any advice much appreciated!

    Hugs, Bex

  • hi, I am hoping one of you ladies can help me please. I worked for Avon up until a year ago but when I left they sent me letters saying I owed them £45. I disputed the amount and paid half but I got letters saying they wanted the rest. After about two months I gave in and paid them and that was the end of it.
However, I'd like to get back to working with them as I really miss the products but do you think they wont take me back as my credit rating might be bad now? Please help. Thanks icon_lol.gif

What I was really wanting to know was is the MOV £48 or £70 something for an additional order on C4.

I'd not swear to it, but I've a feeling that all Pres Club Reps now get commission on all additional orders once they've had a commissionable order for that campaign. I'd try finding out on the Avon site if I were you.

  • Hi everyone!
I was just looking through my invoice to see how much I need to get to PC club and noticed that brochures didnt get added on towards pc club in campaign 1 but they did in campaign 2 & 3, did that happen to any one else? I just wondered why?
And also I saw someone had said that SL's get brochures cheaper, do I have to get my first five before I get them cheap as Im only trainee or is it because they havent received my SL agreement yet?

If you ended up paying then I wouldnt see why not, all you can do is ask, the worst to happen is they can say no. Good Luck xx

You've you signed and sent back your agreement then you'll get the books at the PC rate, regardless of how many reps you have. Took me ages to get my first 5 reps, but as I'd sent the forms back immediately I still got to get the brochures cheaper.

  • Hi, I need some help and apologise in advance if I'm being really thick.....
I'm just trying to put my order through and am looking at the estimated subtotal page. The total cost (to me) of my customers products is £59.35 and the total cost of things I have ordered (brochures, bags etc.) is £18.71. This totals £78.06 so is over the MOV so I qualify for 20% discount on the customer products which is £14.84. If I take £14.84 away from £78.06 I'm left with £63.22 to pay Avon.

The total of my customer order forms is £75.71 so once I've paid Avon I should be left with £12.49 earnings.

Have I got this right??? Again I'm really sorry if I'm being a dozy cow, just can't seem to make it all make sense!
