Just had a visit from my sales leader - she was soooo lovely fair play. Shes given me some territory, some books, calling book etc.. and i'm going to hit the street tomorrow :) gotta buy some resealable bags first though :) can't wait to start earning moneyyyyyy :D

Tip, measure the book before you go and buy bags. They tend to come in various sizes and it is very annoying to get home and find the bags are too small for the books. The boxes of bags usually have the sizes printed on the outside.

Oooh thanks :) i was just gonna open up the box and try and fit the book in.. but i suppose thats going to be easier plus they can't shout at me for doing that :rotfl:

I staple to the front of every book when I'll be collecting them and a reminder to leave outside if they won't be in

I put a slip of paper inside mine (1/3 of A4) stating the collection and delivery dates - it makes the customer have to open the bag and leaf through the brochure!

The books are ".and the actual brochure size is around 6" x 8 1/2" (although order forms are nearer 9 1/2" high, so stick out of the top of the brochure)."

8 x 11 bag is a perfect size for the brochures

  • Can anyone help? I am just starting C5, but (because some of my best customers have missed a delivery date due to items missing from my last order) I may want to place an additional order on C4.

What is the MOV for C4 additionals - anyone know? Not sure whether it is the reduced one or back to normal  Someone seems to have stolen the 'dunno' smiley!!!!!

Is there any way of finding out rather than telephoning to see what items they have recharged for as not having been returned. The items I am expecting to be charged for are not for the amount recharged and shouldn't have been charged yet. Invoice shows recharge but doesn't show which .

    Hi denise

email them through the website and they will reply by email, usually take a couple of days.

Thanks - see your point but wouldn't work with 'my lot'..... I try and make it as easy as possible for them. Sometimes the bag comes back with the fragrance sample I've given them as a freebie....... Having said that more than half my customers tend to order so guess that's quite good? What percentage of customers to orders do others get?

Ellibee - are you in presidents club? If you are you'll get commission on your additonal aslong as your orginal main order hit MOV/HOV....... if your not its back to normal sorry.

Regarding the notes, for my regulars i fit about 5/6 slips on an A4 page and put them in diagonally across the front of the brochure. on it i include when im collecting, when im delivering, an option to stop recieving brochures... and a little "news" box with anything they need to know or with my own special offers for example.

For non regulars i have managed to condense my recanvassing note down to a 1/4 A4 page, with a bit about who i am and stating im the official avon rep for that street, 3 ticks boxes (ordering/not ordering but interested/not interested) and the details of when im collecting and when im delivering.

This means i never write ANYTHING on the forms till someone orders... so they get used time and time and time and time and time again. :rotfl:I also place it at the back of the book form facing out so i can see at a glance when i pick my books up if people havent ordered or even looked at the book cos the order form hasnt moved and its visible without opening bag......It also means when im reusing the brochures i just pull the slip out the front of the bag and put the new slip with the new dates in and pop a new order form in where necessary :D
