Avon Hints and Tips (Part 3)

I think the samples they send must be linked to your customer numbers rather than the brochures ordered...! Who knows, Avon doesn't make much sense sometimes lol:rotfl:
Mmmmm not sure what to do. I might actually leave my customer count as 100+ as if my ASM hasn't noticed then maybe I'll get extra samples in the future!! And then plead ignorance if/when it does get picked up ...
Perhaps this is finally a case of it being better to have an ASM as your upline rather than a SL who has more time to spot these things!! :rotfl:0 -

Its my first order, and i'm upto 138.00 of customer orders, and 7.60 ish of stationary/brouchures.
My HOV is 148.00.
do the stationary sales to myself count towards my hov limit thingy? The reason i ask is 20% of 138 is 27.80 and 25% of 148 is 37.00
So if my brouchures etc count spending 3 pounds more on something for myself will actaully earn me 6 pounds more?
Anyone know if rep stuff like samples count towards the HOV figure? thx
Yes, everything counts. But if you ordered £148 of no discount items, your commission would still be £0.00 of course.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -
Hey everyone!
I've now got my brochure 5s from my ASM and I thought I'd prepare an accompanying A5 leaflet to highlight some of the great Mother's Day gifts. I'd love to know what you think (and any changes I could make to it?):If you've found this post helpful, for your thanks, I'd be grateful!Log on, then click the 'thumbs up'and give my rating a leg up!0 -
Aw, thanks poppet! No I didn't put anything on the other side. I was going to list all the fab make-up deals that could be used for the Morgan Watch offer, but hubby suggested that making it double-sided was "too much reading". Brochure 5 will be my 2nd ever campaign, and about 80% of the homes I canvassed for brochure 4 didn't even bother to take the brochure out of its plastic bag, LOL! So I was going to wait for a few more campaigns to build up my customer base before adding in 'proper' leaflets.
If anyone wants a copy of this I'm more than happy to email it to you - just PM me. (The leaflet is A5 and will be a Word Doc - 2 leaflets side-by-side in landscape).

Well done, Bex; looks great and you've obviously worked very hard on it. The only word of caution I would make is that I hope it's not too costly to print out - I started off doing very dramatic notes but gradually over time they've got smaller and smaller......Make the most of everything in life (especially Avon

I've just "rubber stamped" my name, mobile and email onto 20 books, and 30ish order forms (on customer copy too as it doesnt copy through) but it took me minutes. It took me over an hour to hand write that many. Really pleased with this little investment.Julie0

Thanks JulieJesta - was that a stamp from Vistaprint?0 -
Question, I hope someone can answer!
My order is due in tomorrow night, now I usually pay by Giro as I prefer to keep my money seperate from my bank account (weird like that) but this time a customer paid late so I'm paying by card.
I would usually have to pay tonight so it clears for tomorrow's order right? Just I have £26's worth of credit which hasn't come off my balance yet and I didn't want to pay until this had come off! If I pay by debit card tomorrow night can I still submit my order or will it not let me? Hope you can help!0 -
Thanks JulieJesta - was that a stamp from Vistaprint?
Yup,
the "free" ones that are not free. :P But I paid for a stamp and a set of buisness cards with paypal i'd earnt from doing online surveys.
The buiness cards say
Julie the Avon Lady
Thank you for your order
You can contact me on
mobile
email
address
and have a picture of a lady that looks a little like me.
The stamper is for my order forms, and books, the cards are to staple to each orders bag to make it look extra personal.
Anyhow, 5.95 to save over an hour of my time each campaign is a flipping bargain.
I'm happy,Julie0
