I got about 12 samples and even though OH's account was supposed to be cancelled got about 12 too, for the regenerist eye thingy.

Mmm yeah - I got 40 which might be because they think I've got 5 times as many "customers" as I've actually got!
  • Didn't count how many Anew Reversalist eye samples I got at the time but just out of interest have done now - I got 40; pretty sure I input that I had 60 customers but ordered 40 books so maybe the no. of samples you're given relates to the no. of books you order?

  • Just a quick question. I recieved some bubble bath in my order which has split and leaked. I've done a immediate replacement for it but do I need to send the damaged one back?

    Thanks

    Hi minigirl

I think previously people have contacted Avon and said something similiar has happened and they haven't had to send it back.

If you really wanted to, you would need to put the bubble bath liquid into another container and send it back so Avon can see it had split. But they won't be able to reuse it.

I think the samples they send must be linked to your customer numbers rather than the brochures ordered...as OH got sent about 50 of them, but he never orders brochures. Mind you, I don't think we've ever put him having 50 customers, so whether they average your customer numbers from the last few campaigns or something??!?!?! Who knows, Avon doesn't make much sense sometimes lol:rotfl:

Ooh to those who asked how i have 3 campaigns out at once... lately because ive took on a massive new territory before christmas ive been wanting to cover them as much as i could and without buying lots of new books so ive been using the current camp and the previous one as usual... but also using the book before that and putting through an additional order for orders from that!

t Costs me £2.50 for the additonal order BUT it means that i can use the books for 3 campaigns instead of 2 which works out cheaper than buying extra books.... BUT before you all do it please read this...... Im in presidents club so my additional orders "inherit" whatever discount my main order for that campaign did so i usually get 25% commission straight off on an additional order as i always hit my HOV...

Whereas if your NOT in presidents club you need to make £148 in sales again from that old campaigns brochure to get the 25% commission on additional orders so its not really worth the risk cos you may end up doing all the extra work and not having enough back-back orders to make it to commission level!

So id say unless your in pc club its not worth it.. sorry for the confusion:o:o:o:o Aureols idea of working ahead of yourself is a great idea though! If your organised enough!!:D:D
  • Just signed up for Avon, gonna have a visit from my local sales manager tomorrow, don't really know what to expect tbh. Any tips as a starter?

If you check about 2 or 3 pages back I posted a list of hints & tips - its covers some of the basics but also some other bits which are of use once you're more settled as a rep.

Good luck I'm sure you'll love being a rep :)

Ignore that, I've just tried to put it in again and it's working tonight so I don't know what was going on last night!!

However, I have another question now!!

When I view the estimated subtotal page it says my total of products is £52.85 and the total of products with no discount is £14.45 which makes a total of £67.30. It then says that my total earnings is £10.57 which doesn't make any sense as I thought I had to have an order of £78 to earn any commission??
