Avon Hints and Tips (Part 3)

Hello Avon'ers!
I am a 18 year old male, and this sort of work is the only job I could fit around college and my current part time job in a call centre. Just looking for some extra income as I am saving up for my own place. (Young I know!)
Does been a male and having little knowledge around the sorts of product Avon sells give me a massive disadvantage? As far as I am aware I havn't recieved an Avon book for over a year so I assume there are no reps around here, so I thought I'd have a look into it. Realisticly what sort of income would I be looking at for the amount of time I'd have to put into it?
Thanks guys!Student.

hey///i wouldnt worry too much about being male...my OH has just started deivering brochures...hes actually quite enjoying it...he uses the mens moisturises and stuff...he hasnt come up against any bad comments from the people he got books back off...and you never know being male might work to your advantage...oh and young too....all those housewives flirting with you l;ol...and men are more likely to buiy from a man especially if you say you use the stuff too.
and earnings depend...it goes up and down...you have good campaigns and bad....but its safe to say the more people you talk too the more you can potentially eanr0 -
I'd be able to promote the Avon booklets at work too, I get on fantastically with all the managers there so that would give me access to potentially a good 70+ colleagues who could possibley be interested.
Thanks for you're quick reply by the way!Student.

see thats a good start...you find friends and family will happily order from you as its also doing you a favour...they tend to spend slightly more than a territory customer would
enthusiasim (sp?) sells...if you get excited about the stuff...be it the aftershave , shower gel...or even the lipstickpeople will feed of that and might consider buying....i admit im a very lazy rep...i deliver to people who have ordered before...i rarelyu canvass the whole street...plus i literally deliver rthe brochure...then pick it up again..and yet i still manage to get about 40 quid abrouchure have earned 90 b4(every 3 weeks)....so the potential to earn more is there if youre willing to work a lil harder and not be lazy like me
and its ok ...i like avon..i like to sell the stuff...i enjoy it and think that it can be good for anyone willing to put in that lil bit of effort ...so i am happpy to give my advice (even if it is garbled and rubbish lol)0 -
Well I have just added up my figures from Campaign 18 which I have finished and it was only my 3rd campaign I earned £200.11 that is on sales alone and my £50 cash bonus for recruiting the 5 reps in my 2nd Campaign as a sales leader. I havent even tried to work out my commision from my reps, think I will just wait for the statement lol xDebt at LBM: £9660.05

I think I'll ask around friends, work colleagues and family to see what sort of interest there before committing, I'm definately interested though, thank you for your advice.Student.

dont you think they should do a 'start up kit' like brushes, sponges, demos, basics really that you could pay for in installments or whatever so you can do parties from day one? i want to do one but have just been to a 'virgin vie' party and she had a table full of demos and products and did a full makeover using it. she said it was £100 and shes only been doing it for a week! the amount she made that night was probably half of what i make in one campaign...not bad for 2 hours work!camp 12=£443 13=£425 14=£277 15=£474 16=£492 17=£438 18=£437 1=£319 2=£153:o 3=£220 :jSALES LEADER:j4=£202 5=£191 6=£167 7=£193 8=£216 9=£211

Basically before you will earn anything you need to recruit 5 downlines.... I am in my third campaign and have 11. You recieve 3% on orders over £30 4% on orders over £148 and 5% on orders over £350.
This then goes up as you go up the ranks... eg my next rank up is Advanced Sales Leader which is where I aim to be by March.
There are also Fast Start Bonus's. If you recruit 3 people or more within your first campaign as a sales leader and they all place an order about MOV you get £30.00 cash. If by your 3rd campaign - i think ill check - you have signed the documents to be a sales leader and got 5 qualifying orders from downlines you get |£50.00 cash and so on there is a lot more but I havent got there yet!
I have worked out my total commision for C18 and it was £251.25.
If you have any more questions let me know

I think a start up kit would be good if it was optional. Ive got a rep that really wants to do parties but cause she has only just signed up wont have time to order anything before xmas
