My asm gave me two more streets a few days ago. I had to inform her that they are already covered as I checked with the people who do them and they both said that they had had the streets for years!!!!

Asm denies it, she said they don't but I am not taking on two angry reps to earn a few pounds :(

There have been a few problems with territory. Up till now, there was a record of all territory and who had it, it was called spatial mapping, I believe. Unfortunately, it wasn't as accurate as it should have been, it had a few problems and it would show territory as free when it wasn't.

However, there has been a new system introduced and my SL contacted all her team to ask exactly who had what territory, what postcodes, etc and when they last canvassed it. This was to check - if they hadn't canvassed it for a while, it would be taken away and given to someone who would and to make sure it was accurately recorded if they were canvassing regularly that it was their territory.

These reps probably do have this territory allocated to them but it wasn't recorded accurately the first time. Get them to contact their ASMs and make sure the records are upto date.

If you take a look at your green contract, there should be Area on there at the top, its three numbers. Or it might have been written onto your pack you were given when you signed up (the one with all the pics in) on the back page.

Hello Ladies. Signed up two reps recently with my ASM, she gave one of the girls a big pack of current camp brochures and ONE previous camp brochure.... is this going to screw either me or the rep over in anyway? on one hand its less confusing for the new rep as she only has to focus on one camp...but what does it mean for future brochure ordering etc?

also...what are the pros and cons of signing up my OH?

he doesnt have anyone to sell to really but my AM said it could be done and that for the first two he would need to hit £78 and then i could order stationary and order forms etc through him?? so he would still be classed as my rep...but would i get commission from that as his SL or is it just so i have 5 people and get commission from the others?

I imagine why your asm did this was so that you rep could learn how to do "creative ordering", as she would need a previous campaigns brochure in order to compare prices/offers. You could explain to your rep on your second visit about how you can use the current & previous campaigns brochures at the same time, so she could cover any territory she hasn't canvassed yet with the "old" brochures next campaign, saving her having to buy as many brochures in the long run - which of course means she will make more profit, and so be likely to stay.

A lot of SL have their OH as reps, it does help your numbers admittedly as at least you know they will order lol. You will get commission from any sales that go through on his account - avon don't think "o its her partner she can't earn again", whoever you sign, whether it is your mum, dad, sister, brother, partner etc - they are a rep in your team, so you earn from their sales. My oh has his own territory, as we always did Rep stuff as a team anyway splitting the work between ourselves, and we wanted more territory. The only way for us to have more territory was for him to join. So, if you want more territory too then definately sign your oh up as a rep. One thing I will say though - regardless of who the rep is, they are meant to enter/submit their own orders, unless you have written permission to do so. Seems daft to get permission from your partner, but best to be on the safe side!

I contacted my ASM for some territory, she gave me 3 streets. I have canvassed my first one due to collect books. One of my friends and customers lives on one of the streets and only 2 days ago was delivered a book. I have just went to deliver my third street and their are books already left out. What can I do? I have emailed my ASM but what will she be able to do? I know the first name of the other rep and I'm aware that she has at least 2 other streets near me. I'm concern that it will put people of if I deliver a book then she comes along and delivers another or vise versa? Any advice, thanks in advance

so when it comes to ordering her books.... shes on current camp 4, shes got camp 4 book...so whenever she places an order she will be ordering the current campaign books but wont be able to cover any territory until she gets her delivery as obviously she must have covered all of it with JUST book 4?? so wont she be spending more every campaign as she has to buy a whole 40 books rather than the next 20 like we usually would?
