Diva, big hugs for you and Tris xxxxx

Pen pin - hugs to you too xxxx

Gosh, a lot of sad things I've read on here today in the daily so big hugs to all those in need, or who just want one.

Was very very late today for work but still took a lunch break just to get out. There's only so much of doing nothing I can take! Went to tesco to get some stuff for baking. I "owe" a friend a Bannoffie pie for almost a year now (he he) so got condensed milk and digestives.

My friend is coming over on friday night and I'm making carrot cake for the occasion, so went to this tesco as they do good whoopsies (and got reduced carrots, reduced bagels and reduced massive pancakes) . Heard these women complaining by the whoopsie section , how things aren't reduce enough (at 2pm). People really do want something for nothing! This is a massive tescos and they have a HUGE fridge whoopsie area - so big you would have to stand and lift stuff off to see what's under it. But people push and shove and tend to "guard" it in case you see something they didn't? People are so rude in shops in general. And so thoughtless. This one woman abandoned her trolley to go get something, only it went ACROSS the isle. Makes me cross. I think it's a good job I don' drive, cycling and shopping rage is bad enough:mad::rotfl:.

Todays breakfast was Crunchy nut cornflakes (wee treat)
Lunch was bread with chicken and some baby tomatoes i squished up and mixed with basil salt pepper and olive oil (nom nom nom) . Absolutely no clue about dinner.

Thanks for the comments on the job etc, very much appreciated. I have another interview on monday and more applications here to fill in. Just wish i could motivate myself :o

Diva - best wishes for Tristan, hoping for the best.

PPin I'm so sorry that you have yet another hurdle to get over, I hope the tests show nothing serious.

It's only 5 days now till DD leaves for 6 months, mind you she's had so many farewll do's you would think she was emigrating. I am going to miss her so much, I am dreading it.

OSiness has been very lax recently, I've been very tired - several evening meetings on top of working full time takes it out of me. However, we did manage to change all the spare beds and I'm not resorting to convenience meals yet. I hope to do some Christmas baking at the weekend but it might be taken up with last minute things for DD.
  • my thoughts are with you MSD, i know im fairly new here but i have said a little prayer and also lit a candle x

Hugs to Tris, Diva & Pen pin.
Car's sorted. £90 ouch, but it is our lifeline & hubby has one more payday to go as he worked a month in hand. More belt tightening on it's way, I forsee.
    Have a good evening everyone.
    Hugs Hester

    Afternoon all.

I finally managed to finish making lavender bags out of the remains of the curtain offcuts yesterday, so another job ticked off my massively long list.

Today has been a write-off however; I've had a filthy headache all day, which is threatening to turn into a migraine, and keep feeling dizzy and sick, so definitely a sofa day today.

Mr LW has offered to do dins tonight, but I'll have to see if I feel up to eating anything.

MSDiva all my best hopes for Tris.

    Happy Birthday to Mr Redruby.

((((HUGS)))) to all who want/need one today.
