Morning SPC'ers!!! 77p added into my sealed post last night taking my grand total to £1.11. So im hoping if I can put away £1 a week in loose change then that will be £52! So thats my target for now!

i have also been hunting round the house for all the odd bits of change that get put down and have started the whiskey jar off with ...... Drum roll please........

As well as saving the pennies I managed to buy 2 whole chickens for £1.09 each yesterday and a big pack of mince for £1.20, roasted one chicken last night ans had chicken sandwiches for tea hubby made some for his dinner today and I Will strip whats left for a curry and bought a single leek to cook off the carcass and make !!!! a leekie soup x so nearly 4 meals out of a £1.09 chicken. Althoug tea tonight will be corned beef hash as hubby opened a tin of corned beef and has only got through half of it and i refuse to keep wasting food!!
I am considering writing a diary lol, have to wait and see though!
