HI - I dont have a sealed pot atm but do have an old whiskey bottle - one of the huge ones, I have some change init which will go towards this challenge then I am going to buy a sealed pot for bigger coins as I know if they are in an open jar I will end up taking it out!!
Still going to be tricky with using my cash card for everything though so will have to think around that one!

Oh dear, i havent posted on here in ages!! well my target was £150 for the kids bikes this xmas and so far I have . . . . £22.50 :o
BUT i have bought both the kids bikes with money I have been accumulating from wages in the bank, so im not sure if that counts as a successful sealed pot challenge or as cheating cos it never went in the pot

Karma is on my side...you know how I was 5p short of my ideal weekly pot deposit? I found 5p yesterday!

So that's now in the pot, where it belongs :)

Hi everyone. I did post this somewhere but not sure where it ended up.

I opened my sealed pot last week. I had to break into it earlier in the year but I was still pretty pleased to see that I had saved.

    £180

So very pleased to add this to my £200 Park vouchers. No worries about covering for Christmas presents.

I opened it early as I wanted to get my shopping done before the shops get silly busy. Did it all on Saturday night, very quiet as probably due to X Factor etc.!

Hope you all have a lovely Christmas break and I will be joining the challenge for next year. (My £365 challenge went completely pear shaped though - never mind :o)

Hi again sparky!! :wave:Of course we all missed you....there was more roadkill around for everyone in Liverpool! :rotfl: Well done on that voucher, though I bet someone was gutted! :( I'm pleased you had such a great weekend with your friends.

Hello again starnac!!! :hello:Lovely to see you, but you'll "be back on the 1st (if i remember)" How could you forget!!!

"Old timers" you call us mummytogirls???? Sheer cheek! ;) Well done on the bag.

Do what you can when you can, Willow, how about popping any Birthday money etc in. You're only one of many, I promise you. :)

I know you will, don't worry Applecider. I'd be tickled pink to get £500, but it won't happen. :(;)

A good idea henna123 in investing in a proper Sealed Pot. Try to work round the cash problem, though you're not the only one that's affected by it.

Excellent news jakes-mum!!! :jI'm delighted you got your wish and see no reason not to let you include it next Wednesday, after all it's savings and who ever could call savings cheating!!! :D I'd love to see their faces on Christmas Day!!! :A

It had to be Karms Decluttering, well done - to the 5p I mean! ;)

You're so welcome fishcakes, and to be honest, I love doing it!!

Hi larmy! that is such good news and no worries about the £365, you might strike lucky next year! :D Never mind about breaking into your pot earlier in the year, at least it was there at a time you needed it! BTW, you don't need to join again next year - you're in for as long as you want! Just let me know on or after the 2nd how much you want your target to be. All the best for 2011, larmy!

Take care all and a last heave over the next few days all - just 8 days left!

Sue x Anyone else wishing to join - it's NEVER too late. So, just say the word and you're in for next year too! :xmassmile
