Ahhh, bless you fishcake, but.....I wouldn't be doing it if it wasn't for all of you either! Thanks a lot though, it really made me smile when seeing it.
Do you mean there are tins priced as low as 59p at Home Bargains?? Surely not, but then you got a little kitten one so I s'pose there must be!
Well, there you are folks, an offer you can't refuse IF you need a pot.

Can't possibly imagine what you might be referring to there Sue! :A
Actually I'm quite proud of myself, I managed to find my coinbags and get most of it bagged up and only had one or two coins escape under the sofa - but I shall retrieve those tomorrow. The pile of coins looked bigger than I expected it to though given the size of the tin, so I'm getting even more excited about emptying out my bottle now too! It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

:j Hi, Can i join please for the 2010-2011 year?
I have got a pot too out of Home bargains (got it about 3 months ago lol) it's one of those HUGE ones that you need a can opener to open, it has money and notes on the site, but because it had a dent in the side and was the last one, i asked for a discount
and got it for 50p :rotfl:
It's about 4 times the size of the ones from P*ndland, :T
I would like to save about £400 for the year. putting in everything we have in our purse/wallet at the end of the day unless the coins (£1 or £2) total £5 or more (which we'll save for lunches/petrol/emergency items the next day) :TBlogger / Money SaverMake £2022 in 2022 Challenge - Accepted0 -
i've not posted all year as it's been quite difficult, still struggling with losing my bro back in November 2008, lost one of my aunties at beginning of April and my mum and dad lost one of their cats in August, so not a good year
have been putting change into my tin, think i have got about £30 in there, so come 1st December i may leave it in there (not decided yet)
found out a couple of days ago that I have won a competition for fridge/freezer though, which was unexpected, especially as I bought and had my new one (which was needed, part frozen tomatoes from the fridge aren't nice!) delivered about a week ago lol
slowly getting my 2 credit cards paid off, bought almost half of the Christmas presents for family, writing cards next week and getting stamps over the next couple of weeks so they will be ready to send 2nd week in December
I'm slowly getting the rooms sorted in my house, and bought shelving for living room, finally!, just some junk in front room to go and then I can start sorting out for it to be my proper living room instead of junk room :rotfl:
hope everyone is doing well with their challenges and you reach your goals0 -
Sue - I am quite excited.....Is it really only 10 days until we can free our cash???
I am sat here looking at my bottle of coins - it is more full than this time last year, so I am hopeful of more cash!!
I also didn't need to break into my change to pay bills this year (budgeting really works!)
Oh dear - this is almost more exciting than Christmas...!!! xWhy does nobody say Thank You anymore??:mad:Debt Free as of September 2011 :jSealed Pot 2009 number 334 - £100 Saved! yey!!Sealed Pot 2010 number 334 - £116.51 Saved! Yey!! YIPPEE!!0 -
