A few more small silvery ones went in to the bottle today, along with the remainder from the work tin - anything out of the tin is now ready for a trip to the bank on Tuesday. It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.

Hi again scuba, and pleased to hear you finally found the bags. Fingers crossed that the pile WILL hold even more than last time for you.I've not posted all year as it's been quite difficult, still struggling with losing my bro back in November 2008, lost one of my aunties at beginning of April and my mum and dad lost one of their cats in August, so not a good year
Oh LucyToons, I'm so very sorry to hear about the awful events you've had in your life recently and I honestly do hope things will look up and be a little better and more bearable here on.Good news about the fridge/freezer win  though now you'll have 2 or ...you can maybe sell one and have the cash help you out!
Hi there Dizzie!!! :hello:So good to see you! Well done with the budgeting, it really does work. I'm so pleased yo didn't need to raid your pot this time. Things are looking up Dizzie! :jYou're right, it is almost as exciting as Christmas!!!
Hi Applecider. Be hopeful, but don't set your hopes too high then you can't be disappointed. You're doing so well though so whatever you have will be well earned!!!
Good to see you Long tall sally, I know all too well that you're a regular saver. That'll be fine to continue on until next year LTS, it makes sense and may even be of help for the holidays IF you need it! All the best, and if you're not here again before - then have a very Merry Christmas, and a wonderful time! A little wave to the little LTSs. :santa2:
Well done skilly!
You too dippy...and mummytummy.
Not forgetting you, Willow, much better than nowt - and better than me!
Have a lovely day everyone. Wrap up warm and take care! :santa2:Just 9 days!

Hiya Sue,
I think I'm going to open my tin at beginning of December, see how much I've got and then put into a new tin and leave it until my birthday next year to treat myself
It's been tough but I'm slowly getting there, have lot's of bad days with some good in between, hoping to do more of the MSE challenges next year which help me get back into some kind of normality
Yep will be selling the one I won and using the money towards some Christmas presents, I'm going to be good again this year and not increase my overdraft for Christmas lol, then the rest will be going into savings along with a refund I'm going to ask for from water company (I'm £121 in credit and all paid till next March) so some will be for spending money for if I go to Spain next year with my mum and dad (they've offered to pay for my flight)
Hopefully Christmas will be easier this year and that next year will be better0 -
