Hiya sparky, lets hope they're not too much longer with your laptop or you'll risk forgetting what it looks like!I hope it's not too pricey either, though with some of those darned viruses.....! I know, I'll shut up before I put you into some sort of depression.
Well done dbushes, at least you're sorted and running now.
Hi Winchelsea, I'm not a bit surprised at your very wise decision as I guessed you'd hate parting with any of it yet, good for you. Thanks so much for your words about our dear Sally, it's a week ago today so a bit raw, but life does indeed go on.
Thanks for the explanation of your loon scuba, though what it would have been if not.......!
20p for me. Will see you all later ......if you're lucky!!!

Thanks so much for the welcomes and encouragement! Have decided to empty my wallet each night of all 1, 2, 5 and 20p coins. Also going to try and stick the £2 coins in, but will have to see how that goes (I can imagine that they might get raided in emergencies). Started with my first 13p last night!Proud to (finally!) be dealing with my debts!! DFW Nerd # 1333

Oh sparky, I really am so terribly sorry to hear that. An extremely hard lesson on the importance of always backing up, not always thought of at times though I've got to admit. The £40 isn't too bad all things considered, but photos and all personal things are totally priceless. How about getting an external hard drive, I wouldn't be without mine as T & I take a lot of nature photos.
Food for thought sparks, meanwhile I really do sympathise.
Love, Sue x
Off to a great start already PennyCounter, good work!

Morning Sue
Thanks for the advice hun, the annoying thing is my DW downloaded what she thought was a driver/programme for her Ipod, then the damn programme took over the 'puter and totally virussed (if there is such a word!) us! We'll be looking at getting an external drive though to back up things from now on. Hoping to get the lappy back today, it's like having a limb missing

........and we really like the idea of having you with us missyp123.

BTW missyp123,if you'd like to save til Christmas - but - not use it until April then, to feel part of things here (it gets VERY exciting come October on) you can always count the money you save between now and then, then have it included in our totals BUT still pop it back in the pot until you need it. Whatever's best with you is what you do! All the best.
Hiya sparky, I hope by now you have the lappy back and that all is well. BTW Play.com is usually about the best for external HDs. Virussed? More like HAD it you ask me, though how anyone can sit around mucking up people's PC's is way beyond me. Your poor DW, bless her.Give her a big kiss. :kisses3:
Very well done B!!! Keep it up and you'll go far....anywhere esle to look or search?!
Have a lovely evening all.

Morning everyone
7 X £2 coins plus 1 X 50p in the New York fund. 1p found in the self service till in MrM's, and £1.38 into the sealed pot, change from last night's mystery shop. Still no sign of the lappy yet, hoping to hear from PC world today (fingers crossed!)
If anyone is near the cricket ground in Sefton park Liverpool this Sunday about 1pm look out for all the scooters attending Liverpool Scooter clubs annual day there. There's also American cars and I think a band or dj on.
Have a great day today, take care and keep savingSparky0107 - Sealed pot challenge member #002. Total for SPC3 £1,030.57 Total For SPC 4 £2247.00 Total for SPC 5 £2574.62 :T Total for SPC 6 £4552.91:T

I haven’t been on here for aaaaages but am still saving hard! I’m hoping to have almost enough to buy myself my dream handbag (Mulberry Bayswater) when my Terramundi is full. I’m only putting £1 and £2 coins into it and saving all other spare change in a different jar so fingers crossed- they're getting rather heavy now.Virtual Sealed Pot challenge #48Sealed Pot Challenge- #7290
