A warm welcome to the thread loonylamb and nogoodwithmoney11111. It's lovely to have you here with us. biggrin.gif Have great fun saving. You'll find your numbers at the bottom of the list on post 2 of page 1. Please read through posts 1 & 2 as it'll let you know exactly what to do with the challenge. Please pop your number on your sig, it helps so very muchkiss.gif

dippykitty, I notice your number isn't on your sig :(, could you do the honours for me and pop it on please, also it'd be best if you put the money taken out (...or was it banked? ) on your siggy. Thanks DK. :)

Good to see you 'home' again sparky, I'm thrilled to see you had such a good time...but what a temperature!! Sorry to hear about the virus, hope it's soon sorted. Well done with the H4H fund!!:)

Winchelsea, that is marvellous news and I' so chuffed for you. Re the savings...why not use half for the holiday and save tother half for Christmas - sorted!!:D

mummytummy that is marvellous and I'm so pleased for you that it helped you out at such a tough time. :T

Sorry I haven't been on for a few days all, but sadly we had to have our dear Labrador put to sleep on Wednesday, and at 15 years old it was a heck of a blow, but necessary due to her having terrible arthritis.

Well done everyone, you're all doing so well and whether it's pence or pounds.....it's still SAVED and that's what matters! :D

All the best for a good week folks, stay safe and healthy.

Thanks so much dippy, it's good when people such as yourself understand. I was so sorry to hear about your poor cat, a rotten time I can imagine, but again it's time that sees us through it all.

Thanks so much for updating your sig, now your money banked is easy to see. Thanks a lot DK.

    Morning Sue
So very sorry to hear about your dog, it's like losing one of the family, people who don't have any animals just don't understand what it's like when you lose one. You and the family must be devasted.

    (((HUGS))) to everyone

  • I forgot to join this year but saving in sealed pot had become a way of life. I was fed up with paying supermarkets to change my coins so opened first tin and banked it whilst Post Office was not busy and £68 in total. Second tin is nearly full now and will do the same. Its too busy at Christmas time to bother staff and banks do not want to know. I have a bank account just for Christmas where I save monthly so money goes in there. Just to let u know I am keeping up the good work. Should have at least £150 just for food.

Sue am really sorry to hear about your dog, I dread the day my Dad phones to tell me my spotty loon has gone (and it kills me that I had to leave him behind when I moved but his medications simply cost too much for me at the moment).
My bottle is still safely packed in the boot of my car but I have a small handful of roadkill acquired from wandering around camp with the boy over the last few days. I have no idea why soldiers seem to hate small change so very much!

    Hello irishwexford

You don't have to re-join this gang, your number is 112, it's yours for life :D. If you have a HSBC account, some of the larger branches have coin counting machine's and the money goes straight into your account ;)
