  • Evening all 7 golden coins in my piggy-wig tonight. So sorry about your dog Sue ;( It's really hard isn't it. I was distraught the last time we lost one of our kitties.
Sparky hope your lappy is fixed now and DW wasn't in too much trouble.
Went to bootcamp in the rain last week, but the upside was I found a golden coin. :)
    Save me from spending...

Evening sparky, I hope today was at last successful with the lappy, though i guess they get a fair few others too...all with the same missing arm syndrome. ;) Well done with the savings.

Aha! So there you are ferriswheeljunkie! Glad to hear you're still saving well and good luck with the handbag.

    You have a
    great weekend too Kerry. :)

Hi LC and thanks a lot, we miss her terribly so know full well how you also felt at the time of your kitty's loss.

    Morning everyone
Still no joy with the lappy, the man from the PC shop said he's got to take it back to factory settings, so we've lost all our pics that were'nt backed up. On the plus side we had a fantastic weekend, our scooter club do on Saturday night and Liverpool scooter clubs run to the cricket ground in Sefton park was great and the weather was fantastic, we also had a lovely meal as part of a MS and we've put a few quid into the sealed pot.

    Hi!

We started a pot the other week but I hadn't got round to posting - can I join the fun please?!

There is always a loose change jar in our house but it gets raided for school dinners and bus fares so this time we've sealed it! no raiding only adding.

looking forward to seeing the results, love to hear the pennies (and the £1s) drop into the pot!!

    :)

  • Gosh! Soooo many new people since I last posted! Welcome to you all, Happy Saving!

Soo sorry to hear about the loss/illness of pets to all who have mentioned this xx

rancid-a - it's good that your dental insurance paid out quickly. hope your tooth crown is sorted soon.

It's good to read through the thread and see where everyones savings come from!

Since last time I have saved approximately £200 from various sources, including surveys, free cinema tickets, money off coupons & free products, free bingo/scratchcard wins/mobile credit from picking up fanta bottles and inputting the code and road kill!

    :hello:Hi a newbie here...
    Can I join pls.
Have just started a MFW dairy.Today made my first every OP.:j
I have had a pot for loose change for a while now-Even the children joined in with that one. If they collected change for me when shopping they would start sorting it out and 'keeping' the 1p/2p75p to pay into the pot when we got home. They even helped count it out in the holidays and we paid in £28 into the account.
I got my sealed box today and already hubby has taken claim of it, saying he will pay in his loose change to go towards the car insurance. I did only want to put in 20p or 50p but i think I have now got a habit of emptying my purse after a shop into a pot that I may do that agian.

again Hi to you all and happy saving.
