    Big hugs to PP
    Happy B'day Thriftlady
Started the car this morning & part of the exhaust fell off, got to work & a toner bottle fell apart & I got covered in black toner, did a medical, child had bumped head, phoned home & our Med lady yelled at me as she's already decided child was a 'fusspot' & so hadn't phoned home. It seems I'm not allowed to disagree with her word of law, lol.
Alll in all a great day.
    Have a good evening everyone
    Hugs Hester

I know it's hard PP but it is extremely rare to feel pain with breast cancer so please try not to worry. If a lump is a symptom of BC there is unlikely to be pain as well and doctors have to cover their backs by arranging a mammogram asap.
I went through this two years ago and was referred to the clinic within 3 days even though it is 100 miles away, where they took a biopsy and diagnosed me with fibrocystic breasts. ;) It is best to get it checked out for your peace of mind but breast lumps are incredibly common and react to hormones so can come and go according to your cycle.
Hope this reassures you a little bit.

Sorry you've had a rotten day Hester. xxx
Welcome back, but sorry to hear your bad news Leigh. xxx
  • Stressedoutmum What exam are you doing? Its such a relief when they are done though as no more revising lol!!

I'm doing my technician level of AAT (Association of Accounting Technicians). I've got a further 3 exams in June and a 4000 word project after this exam
Oh, and any ideas for a blue/silver themed room without a tree???

How about blue and silver balloons stuck on to the wall with the non sticky selotape (IYKWIM) with blue and silver curling ribbon hanging from them? I do this each year with red, green and white balloons, it looks very effective and fills spaces :D

Haven't got much done today as I had to pick DD up from school, she got whacked on her head with a hockey stick (ouch!!)

Penny-Pincher - don't know what to say hon, but my thoughts are with you xxx

Dinner will be ready soon, we're having roast gammon, roast potatoes, cauli cheese and brussel sprouts (cooked in chicken stock - well an oxo cube :rotfl:).

    Enjoy your evening
Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )
Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)

Penny Pincher - I echo what Haribo says...similar story to mine. I take Oil of Evening Primrose which seems to help. Mine comes and goes and is particularly bad before period...is it that time for you at the moment. Hugs x
I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer.
Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration.
I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over and through me. When it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path.
When the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain.
  • Thanks everyone. I think its just been a very emotional day all round today and am very sensitive. There is breast cancer with 2 close family relatives. Just feeling sorry for myself really.

HJ-Thanks for the personal info, thats helped me alot. The main pain is under my arm and under the boob IYKWIM, so it could be another symptom of the other illnesses I have. Did the biopsy hurt? I am so anti needles, I feel sick just thinking about them and I have to !!!!! myself 4-6 times a day..lol.

    Evening all

Pen-pin ((((Hugs)))) Don't have any different advice or help for you but just sending you big hugs and thinking of you.

Happy Birthday Thriftlady and Mrs E:bdaycake::bdaycake:
When I got home from work tonight went to get a loaf out of the fridge/freezer and found alot of food was soft and defrosting. SO have had to empty it all. Will cook all the chicken as a curry for tomorrow and can refreeze some then into other freezer (luckily we have a chest freezer in the spare bedroom so I can put some food in there). Still I have had to throw alot of prawns and fish out as I didn't dare chance them. Typical for it to go so near Christmas:mad: We just can't afford to buy a new one at the moment so will have to hope that the fridge doesn't pack in yet.

    Have a good evening all

    x
