    Morning all :hello:,

    Thriftlady - Happy Birthday!!
tiredmum - sorry to hear about your doggie
zippychick - good luck for the interview today. Just remember they'd be lucky to have you!
Bitsy - yep I remembered almost all the steps and their names but I did go off to professional dance school when I was 16! It was only when I totally busted my knee that that career path came to a rather abrupt end :(

Dead frosty here today. Thank heavens for heated windscreens! DH decided that he would walk to the car minus a coat this morning - what a wally he was so cold when he actually got in the car that he couldn't feel his hands on the steering wheel...

We had some lovely bubble and squeak for tea last night with fried eggs and cold meat, but unfortunately it was so nice, there was no leftovers for lunch today! We've both got mackeral mixed with sweetcorn, onion and mayonnaise sandwiches today, and DH has got a couple of HM sausage rolls. Not sure how they're going to taste as it was my first attempt! Tonight we're either going to have a bacon hotpot, or macaroni cheese with bacon, but I won't decide until I get home. Either way I will make enough for our lunches for tomorrow.

Have to convince my parents that this weekend is not too early to put up the Christmas deccies, and my being 29 does not mean I should be mature about Christmas :rotfl:They love it really!

Have a lovely day all, OS or otherwise, hugs in abundance xx

Good morning guys, time to start trotting out the xmas funnies I think.:D

An unexpected day off today! LO was very pale, listless and complaining of bellyache before promptly throwing up last night. Phoned work at 8.30 pm to let them know that I wouldn't be in - and the little bu**er is as fit as a flea this morning. Grrrrrrrrr, anyway 'off you go to school my son' and a day's pay lost. Still, I have cleaned the bedrooms, got a wash on, tidied downstairs and I think I will shampoo the landing and stairs. I will do the hall later when the kids are in bed.

Fruit for me for lunch, chickene casserole and crusty bread for tea followed by chocolate mousse for the kids.

Happy birthday Thriftylady and Mrs E, and belated happy birthday to Squiggly and Janiebaby. xx

Gentle hugs to tiredmum pen-pin and all who need one today and keep warm guys Brrrrrr!! xx

    Smoky. xxx

    Morning everyone.
Unexpected (but welcome) paid day off today :D
It's frosty and cold here - am loving it :T
Off to a local-ish nursery that also happens to sell local produce. They do big bags of spuds (25kg) for around £5 so need to get some more and split the bag with my mum. Kids, H and me are still ailing. If snot was a tradable commodity I swear we could corner the market on supply

I am bit worried about my H. He's not very happy at work and I don't know what to do to help him. He's lost all interest in it and it's showing in the quality of his work. We could really do with a break away to recharge the batteries but can't see us being able to afford it (and I'd need my parents to have the kids). I might have a look into it and see what potential costs could be - we have some money in savings (which I only like to use for emergencies but I beginning to think this could be an emergency).

Nothing very exciting re OS happening. Still have some ironing left to do and the usual house cleaning etc. Might put on some leek and potato soup as I have some sad leeks that need using up.

Anyone watch Flashforward last night? I am begining to think their flashforwards were a picture of their lives in another time/dimension detective.gif

anyway Happy Birthday to Thriftlady and Mrs E HSthbdayparty-1.gif all your pressies sound fab :D

prettypaula - hope the GP gives you something to clear up your ailment. I've had that before and never found other remedies work - once it ended up affecting my kidney's. That was agony I can tell you :o

janiebaby - glad the party went well.

Essex-girl - sorry to hear about the accident. I hope the insurance process isn't too longwinded for you. Is the damage to the garage likely to affect your house?

Right better get a move on. Hugs to those that need them. Have a good day OS or not.

PS. May I be the first to wish you all a HSxmasmerry.gif (well it is 1st December after all ;))
