Nice to know that it can be timed exactly how long something takes me from elsewhere. Perhaps I don't want to remember hundreds of different passwords for hundreds of different things.
For the record I have lots of envelopes to open anyway and actually prefer that method.I'm not bad at golf, I just get better value for money when I take more shots!0 -
Paper-less billing is so much better than paper-billing. For one you know you are going to receive the bill in the event of adverse weather conditions affecting postal services & they won't get lost in the post.0

I think they are sticking to the contract they have agreed.
Do you have it written in the terms that a paper bill will be sent?
I think legally they just have to produce a bill that outlines what you have been charged for and the method in which they communicate this is up to them providing it is reasonable to assume that the user can access it and as you have an Iphone you will have access to view the bill.0 -
I prefer paperless billing every time. I now receive via little mail in the way of bills/statements and it's great.
My Halifax CC doesn't offer the facility, which I found strange.
Earlier this year I finally got round to sorting out and shredding tons of paperwork from the past 20 years, took me about 12 hours over 3 days. Looking at the bills, particularly the T-Mobile ones it was unbelievable how much paper was used for itemised billing, some statements were 20 sheets or more.
Most companies/banks will send paper statements for free a few times a year, because if you are applying for some items such as credit, sometimes companies require a recent statement amongst other things.0 -

Also enclosed was a letter with the same details that henceforth all billing to be done online.
At the bottom of the letter says if you don't go online much or would like to keep monthly paper bills then simply text "PAPER" to number 20802.
Did this and 2 minutes later received a text to say thankyou your monthly bills will continue.
I need them for the Inland Revenue so that is my excuse.
This seems a little simpler than getting upset.
Hi,
I've just sent a text to that number and got this message back: 'Thanks for your text. To stop getting your bills through the post please go to o2.co.uk ....You'll need your username and password, thanks.
I presume that means I will now be getting bills in the post again..but I won't be charged for this will I?0 -
I still get paper bills after sending that text several months ago. I am now on a new contract and still getting paper bills free.
Mind you they haven't bothered sending me a copy of my contract some 4 months later despite repeated requests from me.!0 -
like WHO has paper billing?! sounds backwards.
i dont even check my e-bill. they send me an email with the amount due and date and unless it looks out of sync, i dont check the actual bill.0
