Well that is because it is good advice.. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Missed talking to you last night hon and I am always here for you, you know that.
Ok, I know I am slow off the mark, but I finally found a e-card site I like and would love to send some ecards to people on here, so how is that organised or should I just bombard people with pms demanding email addys with menaces?? Though admittedly that would take the element of surprise out of the whole Christmas card thing!!
Tristan is obviously still very very weak. I am talking to our friend out there. She said that since he got home he has really only been sleeping. Drifting in and out of consciousness but not really with it for more than about 10 mins or so at a time. But I am hopeful that this will help him heal and get stronger.
Off to find my list..

So my lists today are:
Feed the cat at least twice
Brush the cat
Sort and delete 30 emails
reply to emails
Clean bathroom sink
Spray bleach on the bottoms of the shower curtains
Email RExtras
Put flea drops on cat
do a virus scan
type up receipt for Cleaning lady
order silk pillowcases
download camera pics
Email photos to father
Yet more sorting through the crates of doom
tidy the dining table
sort through christmas craft stuff - sighs - need the OHs help for that
check Christmas list
Make cards
do freezer inventory
find Yankee tart boxPretty much identical to yesterday as I ended up doing very little except be on the phone and cook dinner. (though not at the same time!)Have a good day flying - with love and light to allDiva.xTo be frugal, you need to spend money wisely, simply spending less is not enough.If you can't handle me at my worst then you don't deserve me at my best...Courage doesn't always roar. TAG - a meal, or is that too boring a suggestion?
No that's not boring. Last year we went to a market town and did some shopping. Lovely little place with a fair few independent shops IYSWIM. Then we had a meal at lunch time in a lovely resturant. I enjoyed it.hello, just popping on to say goodnight LOL
Totally whacked, spent all day doing party planning and random cleaning.
I have made the most gorgeous (if I do say so myself) cake for DD1 for tomorrow.
It was supposed to be a round Victoria sandwich sponge cake thing and I was going to put HSM things on it, but the middle of one of the rounds didnt cook and it fell out:mad:
So we decided to stick the one with the hole on top anyway and make it look like a round box of chocolates.
So it has a round hole in it, its all covered inwhite royal icing and I have laid in triangles of red icing sort of sticking out to make it look like tissue paper coming out of the hole and have plonked in about 30 Hanna Montana mini chocolates that are shaped like lipstick and hairbrushes and perfume. So it looks kinda like an exploding box of chocolates. Mum and DH couldnt believe that I've made it and not bought it:D:D
Also its the first time I have managed to make the cake when NONE of the children were asleep :T:T
Mum was in London all day so we have only seen each other since 9pm really so not annoying each other too much yet LOL
Piccie please? It sounds brilliant!! :T0 -
toottifrootti wrote: »Ishtar how blooming annoying - could you get someone to watch the children while you whizz round - you could do a list from the website and stick to it to save time too?
Yep...that was (is) plan B! OH will be designated chief babysitter while I disappear at around 6am (yes, 6am...before the hordes arrive - hopefully). I'm planning a mega-shop (ie. 2 weeks worth of 'normal' shop) to arrive on 18 December, then it'll be just the fresh stuff to get....
I love Christmas, but I just can't be bothered going around the supermarket with everyone else getting in my way....
Hope your arm is less sore - my mum had the SF vaccination a couple of weeks ago and it knocked her for six.
Right, I can hear little one has woken up, so better go and organise some breakfast for him...
Take care
D

Morning everyone, I've been missing this week from the thread due to a cold/cough thing I've had for the last 2 weeks which has made me feel very tired and lethargic
The heating has broken and is being fixed on Tuesday (6days with none now) so not too good here. Luckily it's not been that cold, hope it gets fixed then!
Have planned a weekend of catching up with the lists and my christmas lists to make me feel better too
I hope everyone is well as I haven't read the thread this week. I'll have a skim through later on when I try and find my list!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
:hello: Morning All :hello:
~~~~~~limps in knowing she's gotta to limp off to work in a few mins ~~~~~~
(((huge squashy hugs))) to Lady-L and Toots and to anyone else who would love a big squashy on from me!
I'm really missing being on here. The extra hours I'm doing are gruelling. I know so many of us here work full time and raise a family, I am in AWE!!! I have no idea how you do it. - well, I do insist on having some sort of life with the ol' fella too. So flying has gone out of the window. We're operating on a principle of lick and a spit.
I did come on a few weeks ago to rant/tell everyone about the really horrible woman at work who's doing a really impression of a bully! But I deleted it, because everything I typed sounded so blooming depressing that it was making me feel worse!
Right... that's my lot, gotta go and get ready for another day.
Lots of love to you all :wave:
