Rightio, firstly Carlsbergal, you cannot 'abduct' your own child who has chosen to live with you and is over the age of 12 and able to make rational decisions. Pigpens advice is spot on (ere Pigpen are you trying to do me out of my job
)
I would suspect that the Mother's reluctance to move from reaction to action is due to the impact of lost income.....mebbe;).
Piggers, :j for sorting out uni and :j:j for DS1's new home, thats great news, hope it all goes well.
The house had gone by the time DS1 got there with the deposit BUT.. on the plus side he now has a deposit so when another comes up he can grab it quick.
Last week I would possibly have had to ask my own questions.. they have all been answered so it was pure fluke I knew the answer having discussed it days earlier.. and no.. I wouldn't have your job if the wage was quadrupled and I had a mansion to live in free of charge!rosepink1984 wrote: »Pigpen is your mum ok? Hugs to her
She's fine thanks.. still moaning.. when she stops complaining we all check for a pulse!Craftyscholar wrote: »pigpen - glad you got uni sorted and great news about the new house - will they be in for christmas?
We are hoping thay can find somewhere sharpish.. they were after a flat today in a really unpleasant area where GF and Jacob might not have been safe.. hopefully they have been persuaded against that so we are now on the lookout!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

I've been missing for a few very busy days - but once I've dropped DD into town for work, and collected DS1 at the same time, then I'm off to do the bathroom!
I was on a course in London yesterday - at the Hilton, Kensington, and very interesting it was too.:D
On the way back to Victoria, I stopped off at the Natural History Museum - wow, love the sparkly lights in the trees and the ice rink that's there at the moment! I haven't been for about 25 years, and had totally forgotten how impressive it is. I was only going into the shop, for a woolly mammoth (as you do). My nephew wanted one for Christmas. It's so cute, I want to keep it...It is never too late to become what you were always intended to be0 -
Hello, well I'm not as crapola as I first thought, have applied for a Virgin 0% balance transfer card awhile and hadn't yet transferred the balance.....:o or so I thought.
Just rang and it had already gone through from my application which is great news and means I can start really knocking my aquired debt back down.
Found out also that cash transfers are at 0% until 2011 so have had some money transferred into my bank account as I need to fund a new car for work. Instead of buying crappy sheds I'll spend a bit more and hopefully it'll last me longer **crosses fingers**.
So need a good hard look at my finances and HAVE to get a grip re my debt which I've been in denial about....again.:o:o:o
Will probably amend my siggy to show that I'm in debt again and then hopefully I'll get spurred on to deal with it.
Aww Pigpen, sorry they missed out, bummer, here's hoping something comes up really quickly soon.
Right going to get my paperwork together and pay off some debt. Will add it up and look at what I can do about it all.
Wish me luck.:DDFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08

Had a lovely walk with doogie and posted the cards so should be with you tomorrow LadyLib. UnfortunatelyHi guys
jjef your name wasn't on my list of flyladys but I saw your post asking for the list and put one in for you, but it's got your username on, sorry x
(((((((Dusty)))))) xSomeone has to keep an eye out for your mad late-night spending urges and try to stop you from acquiring more unnecessary clutter!:p
I've been in front of my PC for so long I can hardly see the screen anymore...
Have continued to fly and the oven is really sparkling now. DH was impressed except when I asked him how to put it all back together and he denied knowing until I started to do it, when he critisised me so we had a ding dong until he shut up .......... I won
Still washing throws and cushion covers, and have a problem with one seat cushion cover as I zipped it up to stop things tangling in it and the zipper came off in my hand, so now its done up and needs to go back on the sofa and I dont know what to do as I couldnt get it back on again.
More tea being drunk, waiting for DH to finish creating his mess in the kitchen before he goes back to work (and I then have to clean it all again ) then its kids teas and more flying. Feel OK todayand hopefully can take it easier over weekend when DS girlfriend here.
Good luck Triker!Mortgage, we're getting there with the end in sight £6587 07/23, otherwise free of the debt thanks to MSE help!0 -

Hello lovely flyladies! :hello: I've been seriously mia for a while but I have been flying, honest! It's 4 weeks today since I moved in with my microwave and kettle
and 3 weeks since all my furniture and boxes were delivered. I'm mostly unpacked, just my craft and art stuff to put away and 2 more boxes of books to open up. Empty boxes being collected by a freecycler this weekend which will clear a big space
Hope you're all well, thinking of you all especially LL and toots, here's a <<hug>> for anyone in need
I'm hoping to sign up properly again next week as I need to get routine sorted pdq
have a great evening everyone... don't throw the string away. You always need string!
