Hi, wonderful people!

Went AWOL again yesterday: think I did too much on Wednesday, and I have this wretched cold/virus/ear-ache/throat lurgy that so many people seem to have at the moment. Feels like I'm going s-l-o-w-e-r and s--l--o--w--e--r.....

(How's this for feeling sluggish?)

Have spent the morning wrapped in a blanket, doing odd bits of paperwork, and ordering the last of my o-line Xmas pressies. Should have gone out shopping in the Big Bad City, but found I had neither the energy nor the bus-fare (except in the form of a £20 note). So that was that!

I've got my godson coming to stay tonight, and the bathroom is a tip (even BEFORE he gets here!:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:). So I'm going to heave myself out of this comfy seat and get on.......Maybe I could even earn my third star?

Anyone for a HHC starting now and going on till about 3:00ish?

Lady Liberty cards posted to you put in a postal order instead of stamps hope thats okay, and toots your card is going north rather than south seemed silly to post yours south to then go north!!

Otherwise not managed much today, been doing too much dwelling it would have been my grandpa's 100th birthday and although he passed away 4 years ago i had always expected him to reach 100 so today feels strange in a strange sort of way.

Heading for the school run DD2 has a pal to play so i had better be on time for the pick up..

Just got in from work and I'm cream crackered, now I've had something to eat I might start to gain some energy, I need to do dailies except the beds which were done this morning, DD1 is coming round soon so we'll probs end up nattering and looking through various xmas catalogues, much more fun than cleaning. Oh and I need to wizz the hoover round.

Draft letter sent for client approval, can't do any more till the get back to me.

Off for the boys then really need to get on before we have to go out again to the Christmas Fair.

eta carlsbergal I would very strongly recommend you don't go and pick her up, you are quite right.DH is a solicitor, but he is not up to date with family law, you need an expert.

Well, ended up leaving work at 12.30 today because there was absolutely nothing to do. So I came home and I have flown. The utility area (which I substituted for the spare room) is all nice and sparkling again. So I'll have my fifth and final star of the week please Toots when you have a moment.

And guess what I found in the bird food basket that's out there? The Dyson crevisse tool that I lost ages ago and actually spent money on replacing. Goodness knows how it got there! But at least I have a spare for when the other goes missing.

Thursday - Bathroom, Loo & Study STAR PLEASE, TOOTS! :j
Level One
[STRIKE]Clear all floors of clutter
Dejunk pc desk![/STRIKE]
Level Two
[STRIKE]Wash windows
Wipe all paintwork
Vacuum/mop all floors[/STRIKE]
Level three
[STRIKE]Clean the bath/shower/loo's/basins etc
Wipe the cup rings and dust off the desk[/STRIKE] and jam. Don't ask.
[STRIKE]Scrub down the tiles[/STRIKE] and polished the mirrors and taps

Extras

1. [STRIKE]Delete 50 unwanted emails[/STRIKE] Did this this morning
2. [STRIKE]Defrag the pc and run a virus scan/spyware scan[/STRIKE] Done on a scheduler for when machine is idle
3. [STRIKE]Binbag dance: [/STRIKE] Threw out old shampoo bottles and tiny bits of soggy soap
4. Write and post christmas cards!! :o:o:o:o

Time to glug some tea; then off for godson.

PocketRocket, you can either click on the quote button or you can highlight the list, and then rightclick and copy. Then start a new post and rightclick and paste. I keep my lists in Word so I can adjust them there and they do not get lost in the thread!
