  • Good morning everybody, I can see I am going to have to get up earlier if I want to keep up with all you efficient people. There is a child's pit in our house (and believe me it really is a pit!!) but unfortunately the child is 23 and has got a day off work today so is likely to remain in the pit until lunch time at least. He doesn't like me going in his room and I don't really like going in there either. I think I might wake him about 11ish and suggest gently that he does something about it. In the meantime I am going to attack the hallway and stairs (I didn't start this until Wednesday so they haven't been done yet), more work than it sounds!

This is day 3 for me and I'm still motivated. I did very well yesterday but I didn't post last night because I don't know how to get the day's list in my post. I would be most grateful if someone could tell me how to do this. Many thanks. :santa2:

Gremlins out to school... Just getting ready to take the 2 smallies to physio.. Tiddles is quite concerned that they are going to 'stretch' her.. I said she can have new clothes if she comes out taller. I'm taking Moomins boot for the raise to be fitted by Santa's elves.. then I need to buy boots for Tiddles too.

I've got loads of 'finding' to do today of xh's stuff so we can bung that round tomorrow and I need to throw some cash at DS1 for his house deposit.

And.. I need to pay a bill (credit card) and check on the cheque status on the other account.. and on the old joint account make sure the DD for the BB has come out.

Best finish my cuppa and get dressed.. xx

You too are so mean and bar humbug
Good morning  Just a quickie from me. DD and I are going shopping and meeting Gingham Ribbon for lunch :j

    Enjoy.

We need food but the fact that I keep bursting into tears means I am not going to the supermarket as I can really do without strangers thinking I've lost the plot. Plan is to get on with the flying - hoovering first to drown out the sound of the nagging voice in my own head.

Zoe - big hugs sweetie, that sounds so painful

Kaz well done to your DH re the MOT and hope you feel a bit better today

Rose - hi and hope you are having a good day

Vanilla did you get anywhere with your MP? Hope the stress is not affecting your DH too much

Zoe - massive hugs from me. Ouch ouch and more ouch.

Tootles - I promise not to comment on your list again BUT (you knew there'd be a but didn't you!), and this goes for you LL (you don't get away with it), everytime you do something that you know you really shouldn't be doing I want you to be aware of a collective group of flyladies fingers pointing down at you, wagging there fingers and saying 'you don't want to be doing that do you!!!'. We'll all have different costumes on - I'll dust my squirrel costume off again and add a bit of tinsel to make it a bit more festive. Now, that should have you giggling away rendering you unable to do the job you're not supposed to be doing anyway so my job will be done!:rotfl:. So remember - we're waiting with fingers poised!

I'm giving up with lists this week. DD went to school this morning and realised she'd left her coat at the high school last night. I now need to go and get it. Then i've got a carol concert, a school fair, work and some washing for my neighbour to fit in. If I can flit round with a duster I will do.

Have a good day peeps xx

:rotfl: :rotfl: It's ok.....I'll do as I'm told......although I seem to remember this time last year you were embarking on the "resting" lark & overdoing it somewhat :p:p love you for caring :kisses3:

I am doing some sitting down jobs now..........xx
