    Why do duvet covers always wrap themselves into balls in the TD :mad::mad: One is dry, the other is dry on the bit that was on the outside and soaking in the middle.

    It's got till my hot water bottles are made to get itself sorted out :p

    ETA - good to see you kaz . Glad the treatment wasn't too bad.

    just to catch up

    spent the whole day sorting clamping release fee.....which i did in the end by begging! had to pay £7.50! mse result

    then spent the whole evening doing maths coursework with ds1 and his friend!

    oh and have macie all day tomorrow so not much will get done...havent caught up with the thread

    free ebay listing all weekend so might work hard on that tomorrow


    good news....mum and dad have invited (ie paid for) a holiday to orlando for me oh ds1 and sis her hubby and 2 kids for dads 70th

    but going in feb!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    no clothes no money etc etc

    Penny, Toots - thanks for DD1's birthday wishes, her party is on Saturday so its all systems go tomorrow to get ready for it. she is so excited bless her and of course Nana came bearing gifts today:T

    so you're owed nearly £200 in labour by the pair of them - sounds like you should get the house pretty much sorted over the weekend then :D

    Got Mum safely from airport. She is spending day in London tomorrow with friends so DH is taking her to station in the morning. I am spending day preparing for DD's party in Saturday.

    List update:

    FRIDAY
    Stick cushion covers in wash
    School run - take loads of cards
    Go to Asda
    Post cards
    Post parcel
    Buy DD1 party food
    Buy write and send brothers wedding anniv card
    Buy 65th card for Aunty

    Buy iTunes card
    Go to Sainsburys
    Buy party DD1 crackers
    Go home
    Put cushion covers in TD
    Dust front room
    Decide whether to move bureau
    Lunch
    Decorate DD1 birthday cake
    Music for DD1 party
    Label party bags
    Clean downstairs loo
    Clean garden chairs - need them for the party, not to sit outside on LOL though perhaps if Mum annoys me enough .....
