    Evening all

Had a lovely day out with my friend despite the rain, AF tagging along and my sore shoulder. Managed to get a couple more Christmas bits, doing really well at picking up presents for myself from DH - it really is a case of I've brought something for such and such and oh I'll just get this for myself - oops - but it is saving DH time and hassle so thoughtful really.

Feeling a bit tired and emotional now so just going to have a glass of wine and do a couple of bits on here.

Tomorrow I must do some flying and buy some food!

Carlsberg - we were told by our solicitor not to even try the legal route - has to be coming to actual harm before you will get custardy. (nice spelling me!) Our solicitor said our only hope was that DHs boys would reach their teens and vote with their feet. The research I did at the the time said that as long as the teenager is willing and able to tell the police that he/she does not want to go back to mothers then they will not be forced to do so. Hope this helps, and saves you a trip to the horrid board. My research was fathers for justice, and then NSPCC etc rather than just comments on a forum from sometimes ill informed people! Boys were 8 and 11 for the legal advice, and 12 and 15 for the later research.

Biological washing stuff is the one with enzyme thingies that kill the smell allegedly. I keep meaning to buy some value stuff and try it but haven't.

DH is home but working again. It was nearly midnight last night. I feel sorry for him and annoyed with him at the same time. Been there done that, and know it is a slipperly slope to problems.

TD is on and I must iron the uniforms before bed. I am just running out of energy and enthusiasm if anyone has some to spare?

List not complete buuuuuut - I've filed my business to within an inch of it's life! I've also re-designed my consultation sheet so that I just have one set of paperwork on which I fill in details for relevant treatments. This means if someone decides to have another treatment at a later date I don't have to repeat lots of the same information. Makes sense to me - honest!
sounds like a job for a database...

:T:TI have been through my work bag (again) because THAT is where any loose bit of paper in my house ends up...and there was the list so I know how much I banked for DS's lappy:T:T:cool::cool::cool::cool::cool:

Keys in washing tablet box probably because washing machine (and fridge freezer but THAT'S tall) are just by back door - keys probably dumped ON box by me then fell IN box somehow...despite the fact that it would have been JUST as easy to put the keys on the rack than just down. Rack also near back door

carlsbergal if it helps, I have gone into similar issues a lot with my own solicitor, and DH who is one. So I hope not too ill-informed, though clearly not a legal mind myself, did check with DH before posting. You need, if you are going down that route, someone expert in family law and who has signed up to the charter-thingy, can't remember what its called, but they promise not to engender greater conflict and keep the needs of the child paramount. Hugs. I will look it up.

  • grateful - any advice greatly appreciated, just spoken to DH's DD; say it's sh$te still her mum is saying the same things like 'go down to tour dad's I don't want you' but that she won't speak to us, we are caught between a rock and a hard place and will have to go down solicitors route so that's it done legally. My girls say we should just pick her up but that can be classed as abduction can't it?

Copied and pasted my post on here to go on the other board but bottled it; how sad am I?
Pigpen - sorry it's off thread again, please forgive me
Penny - do you have any advice on this with working for CAB? Sorry to involve you again

before it failed I was on 11000+ steps for the day.
WTG - thats a brilliant step count and thats a 'normal day' - it just shows you how much you do without realising.
I had mine on today to go to the doctors etc and have done 4694 so well pleased with that too. I must use it more - like in the house too but I wont be 'adding to it' like Rose does I would rather keep it natural and genuine IYSWIM.
Natty and Greenbee dont get your knickers in a twist my lovely friends - yes i know its a long list but there are things on there that you guys wouldnt normally put on your lists you just get on and do them - I NOW REALISE (yes its taken a while) that I have to think a) can i do them b) how do i do them c) what do i need to do them d) have I got to get someone to take me somewhere to get what i need etc etc etc so I list every thing i think of so that on good days i have choices and if there are people around who can help with some of the others then maybe just maybe I have to let them help me (groan!!!!)
boddy hope your sore throat and headache dont develop into anything nasty (((hugs))) BTW well done with the continued weight loss - 8 lbs so far - excellent:T
froddy hope you are ok honey - you sound tired? (((hugs)))
mudbath Nooooooooooooo and thats NO I wont say if you make me smile in a special way - I think you are another heading for the dementia unit:rolleyes::D:p
Dusty glad you had a good day and I think doing your own Christmas shopping is exceeeeeeeeeeedingly decent of you - I mean you are taking all the surprise out of the day for yourself just to save poor DH time and hassle - well I think that is just wondeerful:rotfl: hope the shoulder doesnt suffer too much from your day out - enjoy Rose :D
carlsberggran if she is not answering the phone then why not try writing to her yourselves (well it would need to be DH who writes) and send it recorded delivery so you know she has it - it may get a response? might be worth a try. (((hugs))) hope you get something sorted out soon xx

    toots xx

Toots - maybe you should cut out some of the stuff on pigpen's lists then, and aim for more realistic goals? You're going to wear yourself out, and we don't want you to do that, as we'd like you to hang around for as long as possible please :A

carlsberg - hope you can get things sorted. How about DH's DD seeing whether she can get some advice as to HER rights?

Legs waxed... supper cooked and eaten (pigeon casserole and braised cabbage :D). Need to get myself sorted for tomorrow now...
  • Aunty Crafty thats ridiculous - and so incontinent or is it imcompetent - maybe both!!!:rotfl: would the ebook reader cheer you up then????:D:p
Who me?? Whatever made you think of that?
(Yes it was my first thought)
De.Nattom welcome to the thread - sorry i wasnt here earlier to welcome you but I see the others have done it - I will be sending you a pm shortly that might help you a bit! Dont be fooled by the lists that you see and everyone saying they have done loads - if we were that good and organised we wouldnt be here!!!!
    toots xx
Oh you rotter - we were all set to glow with virtue.
    Welcome De.Nattom :hello:
You will soon sort out the ones to avoid (how are you on pegs?)
  • Grateful - thanks grateful for the link, do you mean DH is a solicitor? Not that I'm asking for him for free advice - or was I? F£ck knows am so confused?
Greenbee - never even thought of that, do you mean such as childline?
Toots - will definately consider that as that child is not hearing the right things a loving parent should be saying to an impressionable DD
