    Hi everyone

I've fallen off the edge a bit with lists after a couple of busy ddays, I will find one in a minute to see what I've done.

Trip to homeopath went well, she's given me a rememdy which we think will help with the sort of raw trauma feelings. It was stressful going through everything with her, and I've felt like I've been beaten up all day, sore muscles, headache, aches and pains, but I think it's some of the tension finally showing itself. Seeing my auntie who does reiki in a couple of weeks so will get her to do some work with me.

Lots of love and hugs to everyone, sorry I haven't managed personal catch-ups, my memory is beyond awful right now.

Gutted. Just had our water test results back and it failed on the e.coli count.

penny are you on well water? Any ideas? Am thinking the UV filter has failed, but was a new bulb, and had all been cleaned out a week before.

Need someone to flylady our water!

erm...I think biological washing liquid contains enzymes...

  • does anyone know of dad's rights regarding getting a 14 year old daughter to live with us? Her Mum syas she doesn't want her but she won't speak to us? I know you fabulous people are fonts of knowledge. We've looked on CAB site but nothing there, fathers rights website (he's e-mailed them), but can't (well DH so far) what we are looking for. It is doing our heads in that she won't talk, they don't have a house phone so she can see who's calling and won't answer an unknown number or a withheld number. Sorry, after me saying last night that night night I wasn't going to moan to you lovely lot anymore xxx

LilacPixie remember to take it easy - i will be watching you!!!
greenbee re the fireplace - if you have any architectural salvage places around they would probably come and buy it from you or is there any theatres that might want it for props?
natty hello lovely!!! well never mind about flying while DH is around just get all the christmas presents delivered etc and out of your way - you will still have time to get the place ship shape when he goes back - take advantage of him being at home to do any heavy jobs and help you with any big shopping - make him work !!!!:rotfl::rotfl: hope you get on ok with your SF jabs - you will have a very sore arm for a few days ....well a lot of days actually.
sammiell you dont normally need a push or a kick - I know you will get things done - you always do!!
lil_me oh no honey thats awful - what a nightmare - I know you will have stopped them as soon as you realised but still its the palava of replacing them more than anything - as for the house - since DH is unwell put things back in the garage that you are unlikely to get round to for the next week - you cant cope with the mess just now so stow it away until things settle at home - try to find time to chill - you sound stressed pet. (((hugs)))
valli now angel I think greenbee could be right - it is looking a little like dementia setting in - try not to worry - make sure you have your name and address on your person at all times in case you wander off - get the children to check you have switched everything off at night as well. and remember you teach at the school -you are not a pupil :p:p:rotfl: in the powder box - well thats a new one on me!!!:rolleyes::rotfl::rotfl:
pigpenb glad you got sorted at uni - do you have to wait for official notification? I think its lovely that santa is getting DD4's boot done so that she can wear them immediately - what a lovely Mum to think of that (((hugs)))
LadyL ooooooooh painful in the artery I wondered why you were gripping my hand so hard!!! and just in case you havent had it before - prepare for a huge bruise there - sorry!! I think I may have finally gone mental:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: but it is such a lovely big house that I feel compelled to look after it;):j

I feel decidedly ill now, feel a cold coming on and very tired, may have to put off flying till later
I have mopped the floor again:rolleyes: and put away our shopping though
Jinky I am pleased that you like your new surroundings and you will soon get it under control - you still havent spilt the beans regarding the possible new work/workplace - or is this too public for that - hope you feel better soon (((hugs)))
wilf thats shocking to be charged like that - I could understand if they charged the extra hours but to clamp and fine her - surely thats one of these charges that were being higlighted as illegal???? is there maybe a thread somewhere you could ask on? Hope you get it sorted out (((hugs)))
De.Nattom welcome to the thread - sorry i wasnt here earlier to welcome you but I see the others have done it - I will be sending you a pm shortly that might help you a bit! Dont be fooled by the lists that you see and everyone saying they have done loads - if we were that good and organised we wouldnt be here!!!!
SSL I am pleased life is good for you - are you enjoying the CAB?
Carol thats sounds like a great start honey and I love the reiki for relaxatiopn - just what you need right now - maybe today was hard but probably did you a lot of good to talk through some of it and get it out - huge squishy hugs and much love xxxxxx
grateful :eek::eek: e.coli thats bad - hope you get it sorted soon - be careful in the meantime wont you.
carlsberggran cant help with the actual rights but I would have thought you should be going through a solicitor for this - it sounds like the ex could change her mind at any time and you wouldnt have a leg to stand on - better to have it done properly IMHO> you could get the 30 mins free consultation to see what a solicitor thought first? they would be writing to her and she would have to repsond I guess to have it done formally - sorry i cant help more. have you tried the families board?

better go do the stars etc now
    toots xx

  • Thanks, toots we are on mains water til we get it sorted.

carlsbergal I think (thought not a legally trained person) that at 14, the child can decide - if it went to court, which of course you want to avoid. That's unless there is a really big reason why not, like one parents' home circumstances aren't conducive to bringing her up properly. x
