    LadyL i've posted my cards.

DS1 is cleaning his room quicker than i've ever seen him. Banning the Xbox until his room's clean works wonders when he's just borrowed a game off his friend and really wants to play it.;)It just shows what he can do when he puts his mind to it.I've been making snowflakes with DS2 & Merry since we got home, as well as picking up a gazillion teeny tiny pieces of paper.

All you chicken lovers....buy books online's free book of the day is a chicken calendar.

    http://bangzo.com/

Just click on the 'free book' button on the top right hand side of the screen. You just pay postage and packing.

Lots done but none of the list. Put away all the notes, files, general carp that had been in a box in my clinic from studying (I did move it each time I worked). Feels great to get rid of that.

Going to go and do some cleaning....sure i've said that before.

Children x lots fed. Hopefully some of them will start to go home soon xx

Some paperwork done... I've discovered that one lot of share options I thought I'd cashed in hadn't been dealt with, so there's now a big fat cheque on it's way (to join the tiddly little ones from the options I exercised... which currently aren't worth paying for a stamp for...)

Pension transfer paperwork started - have called up the pension company to point out that I'm not going to sign the form without the details - they should either have filled it in before sending it to me, or included the details in the pack, so hopefully they'll email them to me.

A bit of filing done. I need to:
    • remember how to log into the payroll system so I can print my pay slips
    • check my online banking
    • pay electrician
    • pay window cleaner
    • sort out final payment for woodstove (and ask them for some receipts for the previous payments!)
    • iron the last load of washing
    • reply to landscaper's email...
I've got a waxing appointment at 7.30. I also need to make sure that I'm organised for tomorrow as I need to get into the office in time to prepare for the call.
  • *Warning - rant alert

OK nothing really in the great scheme of things, but -
Letter from Council Tax Benefit Office - I have been chosen as part of the 5% check on "cases assessed without physical evidence being received"
Which would be fine if I hadn't gone to the office and handed in the form with all the paper evidence they asked for to be checked. Just phoned and yes they need to see it all again.
So I have to make a special trip into town - no way am I using their envelope to post it.

Trouble is I am so annoyed I will probably end up treating myself to something just to cheer myself up :o

    Rant off*
  • OK, had a snooze, done the school run, scoffed a scone, tea is now on, DH is home, DD1 tidying her room (there's a binbag full of stuff from her floor that is going in the bin tonight if she doesn't tidy it away).

Advise needed for our new puddy cat please! She is now eating well and is on Purina One cat food, but she is pooing for England at the moment! Unfortunately, most nights she goes on the lounge floor just behind the door. We have cleaned it all up and sprayed it liberally with stuff that's supposed to stop them going there again but its not working. I'm now at the point where I'm ready to ban her from the lounge but if anyone has any other suggestions I'd be pleased to hear them.

Tea's ready now so will go and put it out and get myself to work.

    Until tomorrow ladies...

Sunny I would give her a tray where she's going and then move it towards the back door in stages, assuming you are trying to train her to go out...or towards where you want the tray to be.
I had planned to post my cards on the way to the hairdressers with DS BUT since he didn't come home from school I was haring around searching for him...made it to the hairdressers *just* in time:rolleyes:

    Hi guys

Not had chance to post until now as uber busy, managed to blag an electric fire from my old lady this morning, she was glad it was gone, I'm glad cause I've now got a toasty LR :j will do a price check on the meter tomorrow as don't want to spoil the 'alls well with the world' feeling lol

Took DD1 xmas shopping this avo, she's a proper humbug at the mo (trouble at b/fs house but nothing to do with her) so I've told her to come home for one night tomorrow and leave them all to it, which will give her a break, poor love looks haggard and she's only 20.

I've got the tea on, haven't done either today's or yesterdays lists yet :o but I'm toying with the idea of doing the bathroom one.

Diva continued thoughts for Tristan x
