Mrs Meister.. Jill .. I felt ok by about mid afternoon.. was quite odd. I wonder if it was just that I wound myself up a touch with the uni thing.. though I didn't feel like I had.

Guess who has forgotten to do the list?!! Sorry *looks sheepish instead of piggley*

In my defence I have been trying to sort DS1 stuff for... HIS NEW HOUSE!!

We are trying to cobble together £300 for.. tomorrow!!!!! No mean feat believe me! Plus.. a freezer and a washer and a cooker and I am getting rid of the fridge from the shed in their direction.. they will be about 30 seconds further away from here than they are at the moment so all is good.. a 2 bedroomed house with a small yard so they can hang out laundry and not have stairs to get to their front door.. all good stuff!

    List will be done momentarily!

    Evening all

Thank you all for the birthday wishes - it's been an ok day. DH bought me a nice amber pendant and earrings on Tuesday. DS1 said that I'd get a present from him 'soon', but at least he got up straight away and we were out of the house on time. Worth at least as much as a present! DS2 gave me a birthday hug and then went straight to his advent calendar. He couldn't quite understand why I didn't have a cake with candles.... How do you explain to a 5-year old that the novelty of birthdays wears off after a few decades!

After all my good intentions from the weekend I've achieved very little so far this week. Getting ready for a mule or 5 coming my way... I've kept up with some of the dailies and little else, but I wasn't going to worry about that tonight.

Yesterday was a total loss. When I got back from work the power went off for almost an hour. DH fixed the heating (his idea about how to sort it was right :o) and then MIL phoned and asked me to take her to the hospital. She's had a bad reaction to Warfarin and needed to see a doctor. They gave her vitamin K and sent her home (which is what she wanted), but they need to find a permanent solution soon.

So, time for a fresh start tomorrow. Between 4 and 7 pm I'm hoping to:

    Hoover living room and stairs/landing
    S&S kitchen worktops
    Sort and start laundry
    put all clean/dry/ironed clothes away
    sort tea
    entertain DS2

Pigpen - did you get my message re Christmas card list? My version of word (work and home) won't let me read it.

    Good night all,
    MrsChaos

    xmas-smiley-010.gif Morning ladies,
"Angels from the realms of glory,
    Wing your flight o'er all the earth;
    Ye who sang creation's story,
    Now proclaim Messiah's birth:
    Come and worship,
    Come and worship,
    Worship Christ, the newborn King!"

welcome2.gif De.Nattom - If I could find an immaculate corner of my house I sure would boast about it, but mostly I muddle through! Like most things, we all find our own levels..giggle.gif
Jinky the non-reindeer - I hope you got some rest babes and feel better today smooch.gif and a big squidgy hug for you.
Toots - Golly sweetie, that list seems to get longer and longer. I do understand what you said about picking and choosing but it is still a scary list!
LadyL - kiss.gif Lovely to talk to you as ever. hugs.gif - I have hopeless veins and every time they take my blood I have the whole wrist thing and OMG it hurts. I have amazingly rainbow bruises for well over a week usually too.
Rose - hugs.gif to you sweetie
Natty - I am guessing Jinks does more flying now cos there is more to do?? Either that or she is still busy impressing her man with her housewife-er-ly skills!!giggle.gif And I will try and get some pics taken next week and then practice blanking out my face for you giggle.gif A vast improvement many would say.
wilf - that isn't fair, what a horrendous amount of money!
macpep - You are a darling! kiss.gif And I am very glad it was just a cyst.
aj - well done on your star - the next one is at post count 2000! Took me agesssss.. though it's probably just a week or twos posts for most on here, especially the overly chatty...:rotfl::rotfl:
toochoosey - Well done on only having 5lbs to go!
zoelikesjam - I am so sorry to hear about your accident and the trouble you are having now. I hope you can get some help and advice soon. hugs.gif
Tristan has been doing a lot of sleeping apparently which is good I guess as it will give his body time to heal. They have transferred him home with a nurse.
Ok, off to get my list...

    Morning All

Lots on today as both kids are singing at the Victoria Hall tonight so they've got to be there for 6. I'm also having Christmas dinner with them so that will be my lunchtime gone.

So far I've unloaded and reloaded the TD and WM and I'm going to do a HHI shortly and was the dishes. I need to make sure the kids have clean uniform for tonight.

Zoe - why haven't you rung me? If you need anything let me know - I know I can't help out with the everyday things as I'm too far away but I may be able to do something.

Tooch - well done on your weight loss

Wilf - well done on saving money

    Sorry to anyone I've forgot.

    Have a good day all

    Hugs
