Empire have to be one of the worst mail order companies for terrible service but they also have the best really good bargains. First orders seem to take forever to come. A lot of MSE users won't touch them with a barge pole but I'm willing to take my chances on them, I have saved the £15 discount code to use on a Kodak printing dock which arrived yesterday at the bargain price of £49.99 (£64.99 without code). Purchases before that was 26"lcd, dvd recorder and home cinema package including plush stand for £405!!!!!, my advise is take the rough with the smooth with this company. I'm glad I've helped a few of you out as other users on here have saved me a fortune.

got my email today to say vax being delivered also bought hair tongs for 24.99 down to 12 in the sale used a code got for 2.99 with free watch

I got no confirmation email either, so following numerous phone calls and emails to & from Empire (all giving contradicting info) I was told the order had not gone through & I needed to place it again. So I did.

I got a confirmation email through today for 2 hoover sets!! Grrrr. So I phoned up and explained that I only placed a second order on their advice, but I was told it was too late as the products had already been despatched, meaning I will have to return one of them upon receiving them. FAR from ideal, as I won't be in to collect them upon delivery, so I'll be unable to ask the delivery company to return a set.

It doesn't help that the customer services are as much use as Ozzy Osbourne on horse tranquilisers. And what I don't get is if they've already been despatched, why won't they arrive for another fornight? What delivery company collects a package then goes to all the effort of storing it for a fortnight before delivering it?! I'm SURE it hasn't really been despatched yet, so why won't they just cancel one of the orders?

Sorry, rant over. Thanks for listening, you've been great.

i ordered one on sunday, but i havent heard anything, so i have just phoned them, they have no record of me ordering or paying, so i put another order in, they said they didnt have any left but are getting some more in in 7 days, heres fingers crossed!!
just gave them some burbble about my mum being an avid customer who gave me the code and info on it being reduced!!!
