Cliched first post comment, but what a great forum - saved me so much money.

I was just wondering if 5lilpigs or anyone else can comment on these vacuums in a touch more detail? - effeciency/power, noise, attachments etc.

I'm moving into my first 'home' :www: in the next couple of weeks, so I'm looking for a hoover to give it a good decontiminating clean before we move in! I'm looking for something similar to a Dyson, but cheaper and more reliable! Should this meet the criteria?

I just bought a Vax triple pack from Ebay. I got the Swift vacuum, hard floor cleaner & carpet washer. They are all very good cleaners. I think Vax are seriously under rated & very cheap because of this!
