I'm having problems registering for an account at Empire Stores.

They are asking for a Customer Reference Number (CRN) which I haven't got - how can I if I haven't even registered yet??

After filling in the registration form (without the CRN) I press the continue button & get this error. Please help, G

Goofy, I think you have to order something from them. Click to buy these hoovers if thats what your after, once you get to checkout click *New Customer* fill out your details enter the discount code they will open the account and add your goodies to that account. Thats how I did it :)

Ordered my hoovers, £37.99 well chuffed :D

    Thanks OP!

Remember, if you buy something just because it's a bargain, you're not really saving money

No problem, but you could have had it for even less at £37.99 with Order Code PX2346 - see Mark_Ice's post just above yours. Any chance of cancelling & reordering? You may have to call them - I'm not sure. Worth a try I suppose.

Mark_Ice, thanks very much for the help & discount code - much appreciated :D.

I was going to get this for my neighbour, who said her husband broke their vacuum cleaner yesterday. But when I called her a short while ago, she realised (belatedly) that she hadn't plugged it in properly .

Anyway, I am very very very tempted to get this for myself as a standby. But as I already have one (a standby, that is :o), I may actually heed my own advice - for a change.

Well what can I say? I'm truly sorry your dream was shattered - it has happened to me many times - so I know how you must feel :p.

    All thanked as promised, G
