Valli - I did, after someone in the thread advised me to. My very first question was asking who I should complain to, because I did not know.
I hear the cry of the silence around me.

By the deterioration on that bun there was ample opportunity to "do something about it" prior to serving it up, what if the burger had been handed to a child in pushchair or something and had been devoured, I realise it is only mould and would cause little if no harm, but, ask yourself if their fresh produce is in this state what does that tell you about the hygiene conditions and preparations in this outlet?

I would hope parents aren't feeding children this garbage to children, especially ones young enough to be in pushchairs.
  • I have heard of this happening before. I think in the case I heard about, the burger shop was 'reusing' the already assesmbled burgers - if they hadn't sold them at closing, they were kept overnight, warmed.

Did you know grocery stores do this as well?

Yep, lots of places do this and it's very bad practice. Personally I don't know why they take the risk and it smacks of sheer laziness and a total misunderstanding of why the food hygiene/safety rules are there. Things like this really do need to be reported.

Why buy anything from McDonald's its rip off a burger and chips don't take that long to cook yourself and it would have been cheaper.

You Pay Peanuts you get monkeys.

People who work in McDonald's aren't aspiring chefs and therefore don't care about their work. And this is a result of that.
